Why is my T-Mobile hotspot saying no internet connection?
I have checked the firewall on my PC, and its in the green.
I have had this phone for at least three years now and never had an issue until recently, when the internet connection drops on both my PC and phone. I can still play music on it and stream Pandora.
This phone came pre-paid and we did a quick 1 month T-mobile service with it. We had been using AT&T for our main service. After talking to an AT&T rep about cancelling our old service he suggested we switch over to t-mobile so that all of our phones are T-Mobile compatible. To save.
My T-Mobile hotspot seems to get very dimly, barely enough to make out the buttons, but not in an area where it's not visible from where I sit. The screen is also a little dim. Any help? Thank you. I did just install an update to the hotspot, maybe that was it. What version.
Answered by cstuck. Date Not Found. I purchased this Samsung Galaxy S5 phone with Sprint when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago. I had bought the Samsung Galaxy S4 a few months ago when it came out and was very pleased with that phone so I knew what to expect.
In February 2026, my Samsung phone stopped receiving text messages. The phone says no reception yet I can use any app which shows me a strong network signal, such as Facebook or Twitter. When I go onto my settings and tap "Network" it says the phone has received no.
I purchased this phone on March 4th. On March 5th it completely shut down and on March 6th I turned the phone off for the night. Today I turn it back on and it has lost all the contacts on it. There are no numbers, names, etc.
What do I do? I've tried all the . I am trying to sync my iphone to my Samsung s4 and it says the phone isn't compatible with this application. T-mobile told me this was because I did not do a restore. So now what? How do I turn on restore?
I purchased this phone a few days ago.
Why does my hotspot say no internet on my iPhone?
My Hotspot says no internet.
It works great on other devices, but not my iPhone. I can connect to the hotspot fine, but then my iPhone will say that there is no internet connection, even though I can surf the web and play games like Angry Birds and Temple Run just fine. I am using an iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.3 and am having this problem in both my house and on my work computer. I also have an iPad 3 with iOS 8.4.1, and it doesn't have this problem. My hotspot is a TP-Link TL-WR841N.
Can you tell us more about your network configuration? Which version of iOS? Is it connected to the same modem as your other devices (if so what is the IP address)? Has it always behaved this way? What WiFi range is it on, (is it in the same room or different?) Can you make sure you are connected to the correct IP address on the router, if the router assigns you a dynamic IP address try changing it to something static (192.168.1 for example) and restarting the hotspot. Can you post your SSID/Key, MAC address, DHCP IP address, IP address assigned by router?
If the problem persists, you could also try updating the firmware on the router. I'm using an iPhone 6 running iOS 9. The issue occurs on my work computer and home computer. It is on the same modem as all of my other devices, and the hotspot has worked fine on my other devices. I do have a dynamic IP address on my router, but I think I tried a static IP address and it didn't work either.
The SSID is "TP-LINK" and the key is "passport". The router's IP address is 192. The IP address assigned to the hotspot on my iPhone is 192.101.
That's strange, it should show the WAN IP address as 192. Can you see if there is a green light on the router's WAN port? If so, you can try unplugging the TP-Link from your router, then plug it back in. Then try updating the firmware on the router, which should show up in a firmware update menu.
Why is my hotspot from iPhone not working?
I've got an iPhone 5, and I've had the hotspot functionality since I got it.
It worked flawlessly until recently. It seems to work fine on my work laptop, but not on my home laptop.
I'm pretty sure that it's not a software issue because the hotspot was working before. It also doesn't appear to be a hardware issue because the phone seems to have enough battery. I've tried other phones and it works.
I'm having the same problem. I have an iPhone 5 and my wife has an iPhone 4s, and it used to work just fine. When I upgraded to iOS 8, everything worked great for about a month. Now, I can't get the hotspot to work at all.
This is not a new issue. This happened for many people after iOS 8 came out. The only solution is to downgrade to iOS 7.
Re: Why is my hotspot from iPhone not working? The good news is, this seems to be temporary. I just now activated my hotspot again, and it worked perfectly. I can't remember what I did differently in the past.
