Why is my Franklin T9 not working?
A while ago, I changed my Franklin T9 from a black to grey and white design.
I can't find the old one on their site, and the new one I get with the basket does not work. If anyone can help me, that would be great!
The only thing I see is that the color scheme looks good in a browser, but not when viewing on the actual printer. I used to have my old gray style and it looks good on the actual printer too, just not how it looks in the browser. If I go back to the old Franklin T9 site, I can still view my old style there, it just doesn't print any longer.
Hi Frank. Sorry to say this, but when you went to the old color scheme, did you download a new version? If you did, that's the only thing that would cause the issue. The printout could still be using the old color scheme.
I have an identical problem. My home wifi router just stopped working. And it was all plugged into the Franklin T9 via usb cable. Even resetting the router didn't help. When I try to print from Google Docs using the computer it prints to the printer but never shows on screen. I need to print to the printer because the WiFi router stopped working and I can't access my files on google drive.
I tried downloading a new version of the Franklin printer online but it did not help. I have the same problem and my home wifi router just stopped working. It is plugged into the Franklin T9 via usb cable. I have reset the router and updated everything. Still won't work. The print outs go to the printer but it never shows on screen.
I have tried to contact them on every conceivable number and have not gotten answer yet. I was told it was sent to my printer. I'm getting really upset right now and do not want to have to go back to my HP printer for my documents since my Franklin is broken now.
I am in the same boat as the others. I have tried emailing them about the problems, no answer. Just sent a snail mail request. I too was promised it was going to send me a replacement. I ordered the new design which is coming as I speak.
Is a T-Mobile hotspot worth it?
Our Verdict.
For occasional mobile use, it's a good choice. Decent web browsing speeds. Competitive pricing. Cheap to operate. Against. Poor call quality in noisy environments. Punctual data limits. Poor battery life. If you're looking for a decent smartphone in your hand then the LG T-Mobile Dash is well worth considering. As a T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot device, it's ideal for occasional mobile users who may want to access the web on the go, but don't need a full contract. You're not going to be impressed with battery life, and at 6.9 inches, it's not the most compact option either. However, this handset can be a great value at just 79 for the 16GB model, especially as there's no upfront cost for the 3G coverage that you'll get by default.
The T-Mobile Dash has a 4-inch touchscreen display with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of additional memory.
If you want to use it as a standalone hotspot, the T-Mobile Dash supports 802.11n Wi-Fi.e. You'll need to register with T-Mobile for an additional monthly fee of 15, however, which covers the cost of a monthly pass with T-Mobile Data Plan.
This also offers 4G (LTE) coverage, but you'll only be able to use it on T-Mobile's network if you're roaming in a region where it's available. There's a 5-megapixel camera on the back with a LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, and 3G mobile broadband for up to 15GB of data per month.
In addition, you can also connect up to six devices simultaneously to the Dash using its 2x2 MIMO technology, although this won't be possible at all times. The number of simultaneous connections depends on the data allowances you've paid for your subscription.
As a prepaid device, you'll be limited to 4GB of data per month - after that, you'll have to fork out for one of the T-Mobile SIM cards, which costs 30 a month.
Is the Franklin T9 5G?
We have had one 5G phone over the last few days.
Let me tell you, I don't think the company ever planned to release a 5G version of the T9.
I would just like to take this time to explain and apologize for the confusion that occurred around the release of the new T9 5G and its lack of name specificity. I can understand why certain members may question why the T9 5G model hasn't got a specific name as the T9 has been an established name here since 2025. On one hand the phone has the T prefix after it; while the 5G model is not necessarily a 5th generation phone despite some referring to it as such. What it was always about is what you could see when you turn it on and use the phone. This was the same idea behind the original Apple iPhone being called the iPhone in 2025 and then later the iPhone 3G and 3Gs to follow. The 5G in this case stands for 5G wireless network data speeds.
As stated from day one of the T9, we have been very strict in the naming policy set up when the 3rd gen T9 was released back in April 2025. All the 3 generations released were officially named at the time of launch (ie) 4G, 3G/4G dual SIM and then 3G. There was no confusion at all. A new naming procedure was introduced and there was no need for the 3rd gen T9 to be a branded phone. The intention of the branding system was to keep the T9 as an established product with the latest available technology for the most demanding member of the market. The branding has been used with other products as well that is a 5G tablet, smartwatch, a smart light bulb among other models.
The branding system will not affect the launch date or price of the new T9 5G. It will only affect the naming of the phone which will now become the 4G/5G T9.
What You Can Expect from the T9 5G? For those who have never picked up a pre-unpacked T9 previously, let me just give you a brief run down and I hope you like it. Yes the design has seen some minor changes in this generation. For starters, there will be four distinct designs to choose from and this includes silver, blue, grey and red.
