You can also send them a message directly via the developer account that you use to buy apps, but they might not respond. It's a good idea to be polite, but you can be quite direct.

What should I consider before downloading an app? What kind of data do they collect? (Some apps collect location information and send it to their servers.) What does the app do if it isn't installed on the phone? Many apps can tell you what else is on your phone, such as your contacts, calendar, photos, etc.

When you re-enter your PIN you will be prompted to sign in again as required for sync. When you first sync, this may take a long time. gbear14275: you will need the 64bit version of ubuntu to do that, you can use the 32bit OS in a VM to install drivers for the 64bit driver. I don't know how to set that up gbear14275: may help. gbear14275: no idea man, maybe. ok thanks ActionParsnip. paul: you need to edit your ssh config, 'sudo gedit /etc/sshsockets' change PermitRootLogin to yes. gbear14275: you may want to use Natty for the time being, until Quantal is stable. Natty doesnt support new hardware like Precise does pfifo, that did not work. I've been trying all day. I am still unable to access with ssh as a non sudoer user
paul: are you trying to log into ssh? yes. pfifo: he is not sudoer, that's not relevant at all. jatt, the issue is that I am trying to access it remotely. It wont let me. I'm not the only one who cannot get it to work either.
