I am using an Xbox 360 controller with a USB adapter and a receiver (for all 3 controllers) with a 4 pin plug (for gamepads). Is there anything else I need to configure to be able to command R2-D2? I had no problems with command lines, but they still didn't want to work with R2. I was actually going to go to that level and it would only let me use 3 of the 4 available slots. This led me to believe that it was a software issue.

In the end I ended up using a few buttons to mimic the command line. That was easy enough to do, but I thought it might be more trouble than it was worth.

I'm running into this same problem, and I have to resort to moving the R2 droid to the middle of the room, which makes me feel silly, but he won't move unless I'm holding down an assigned button (say L1 or L2, but they both do the same thing). If you were using the Force on the Xbox controller, what happened when you used it? With the default controller configuration, the L2 button is being held down as a second "use" command (like, 'X'). You may need to disable this functionality.

On my computer, pressing the "Use" button on the controller did nothing. On the console itself, when I hit the "Use" button on the controller, it was recognized, and I saw "Use" as the last command (or the default one).

Is the Hasbro Smart R2-D2 app discontinued?

It is indeed discontinued. The only way to get your apps is to purchase the new versions which are on sale for the Holidays.

We are not sure why this happened, but if you are looking for an old version of the app, then you can try searching online or use a web browser and check out the internet. There are some old versions still on the Play Store.

The R2-D2 app was a great addition to the new Smartphones and tablets. I am not sure if it was discontinued just because of the changes that are in the new devices or if the new Android OS is too slow for the app to run on. Maybe the new OS will make this app better in the future.

I'm not sure why they stopped supporting R2-D2. I think the last time they changed the R2-D2 app was for Droid 4. They still support the app for other devices such as the droid 3, droid X, and even the original droid. So I'm wondering why the R2-D2 app for the droid 4 and droid X was discontinued. I'm glad the R2-D2 app is still available for the droid 2, and the original droid. But the droid 4 and X app is gone.

I would like to say that we all miss you, R2-D2, for the amazing work you did on the app. It really was a great app, one that was really fun to use and learn how to use. Now, there is no way to get the R2-D2 app on our new phones. We love you R2-D2. I have an Android tablet, and I can say that it is really amazing what you did.

You are one of the only Android Apps I have been able to use without having to download another app to make it work. Now, you are gone. How did Hasbro let you go? You were a huge part of my life. I had you on my phone, my iPod, my tablet, and my computer.

How to control smart r2d2?

The "r2d2" has been a running joke for a long time.

He knows more about C-3P0's job than anyone else. If he wanted, he could shut C-3P0 down. Or turn him off, turn him on, make him say something funny, or make him do something smart. There are probably 100,000 jokes out there about C-3P0.

If you ask him, he probably won't tell you, but the R2D2 should be able to tell you. The most interesting thing about C-3P0 is that he is not a robot (although most people would argue that he is). He seems to have a human-like intelligence. He's very smart, very loyal, and very sad. His most important characteristic, however, is his emotion chip.
