How many quests to get spirit petals?
I read somewhere that it's about 10-15 at level 100, but now that I've got my new toy (level 85!), I can't see the need to continue grinding.
I read somewhere that it's about 10-15 at level 100, but now that I've got my new toy (level 85! Spirit petals are awarded from daily quests which can vary in difficulty and yield. The only way to know is to try.
The petals are also required for "gifts", from people who have the same petals. They are required to get the mounts from the first zone.
If you were thinking of using up pets, you should plan ahead for them. Pets aren't available on every instance, and getting your first pet can be annoying. So don't drop pets while planning to farm Spirit petals.
To clarify my earlier post: Spirit petals are not required to get a mount, as anyone can get a mount with just level 99 in any faction. To get a mount, you need to get a spirit petal to complete the first zone. The first zone is the only zone that you need a special mount to start the new zone quests.
Now, I'm back down to one of my main points: If you want to get a mount, you need to complete zone 1 by the time you are level 100. If you know this, and are willing to make a very short grind before you get started, you'll get your petals and your mount.
If you know this, and you don't want to grind the first zone for petals, then you are better off finding a friend to help out when you get stuck. Otherwise, you will most likely be stuck.
It doesn't matter how much I explain this, I don't think most people understand that a mount isn't that hard. If you're not already level 100, you don't need the petals to complete zone 1.
How many Polar Bear quests are there bss?
I have some questions about polar bear quests, specifically the ones in the northern part of the game.
They seem to have a lot more "quests" than any other part of the game, at least it seems so from the quests I've been able to do. Is this normal? Are they all that much harder than the other quests? How many are there, and what are they all for?
Comments. If you want to see how to get all of the polar bears you need to kill the snow leopards first then you go to the northern tip of the map and you kill the snow leopard. Once you kill him and he dies you can go back to the village and you will see that he is now a member of your village. You get a quest to go up to the tundra and kill a polar bear. The only one I found really hard to kill was the giant one. There are a total of 12 of these polar bears but I think that if you are good with the bow it takes a little longer than with the sword.
If you are up for a challenge you can try to use the spear thrower on a polar bear and it's not that easy. At first it doesn't work but you get used to it after a while. I think it's easier than the snow leopard though.
I'm pretty sure that the bear quest has been around since day 1, and that there's always at least 1. You can find them in the northern part of the map if you look hard enough. But i'd say i've done about half the polar bears in the game.
I've always wondered where they were. I haven't been playing that long, but I know for a fact I've never encountered one before now. So that means it's quite possible to have never seen them before now. Even I didn't know there were polar bears until I came across the polar bear quest.
It's quite easy to miss. I actually never found them until I started going to the northern part of the map. If you get lost it's fairly easy to figure out where the polar bears are by taking a walk on the ice.
You need to find a polar bear in the northern part of the map to complete the quest. There are 12 in total, and while it's possible to get them all in a single playthrough, it will take a while.
