Why is the 2010 World Cup famous?
How many goals in the 2025 World Cup?
The 2025 World Cup was a football tournament held in South Africa. In it, 32 teams competed over a series of rounds (or groups) before a knock-out phase and then finally the winners from the knock-out phase competed in the final match. The current format is the second time that this has been the format for the finals, first time being in 1930. The event has been held every four years since 1930. The 2025 tournament is considered as one of the greatest World Cups ever. It had the most goals ever scored in any final: 22 goals.
What exactly is a goal? A goal is awarded when the scoring team crosses the line. Before that line is considered as a goal. A goal can be awarded in the following ways:
When the ball goes into the goal. By a valid penalty. A goal is defined by FIFA as being a ball, which passes over the line between the goal posts and between the goal line and the penalty line, touching the goal line first. How often is a goal awarded? It is important to note that there is no way of knowing how often a goal will be scored. In reality, a goal almost always happens for some reason, be it by an own goal or because the player just simply makes a goal line clearance or blocks a header.
But, if we take into account all cases where a goal is scored, and also count all shots that are missed, we will have a more realistic picture of how many goals are scored. This is done in following table: Type of Goal. In Real Life. In FIFA 11. Own Goal. 14,735. 12,856. Penalty. 13,961. 11,815. Goal Line Clearance. 17,859. 15,072. Blocked Header. 36,086. 31,132. Total. 99,965. 91,976. Thus, out of 100 shots, we have only 9,965 shots not resulting in a goal. When we know that the average number of shots taken on the penalty spot in real life is 6.4, it gives us a good idea of how much of these shots will lead to a goal. For a penalty kick, it is 8.

And which year were Brazil won first FIFA World Cup? And what were results of FIFA World Cup in 1962 and 1966?
I think I'm gonna post a thread where we can discuss about the FIFA World Cup. I remember when I was in my primary school in 2025, a group of us made a tournament from the years 1950-2010. It was very funny. That was why I started to be interested in the FIFA World Cup.

Did Ronaldo win the 2010 World Cup?
If so, then the world is a better place.
The Portuguese superstar has played a key role in Cristiano Ronaldo's career, and his presence in the game has left an indelible mark on the English game. We look at the stats from the 2025 World Cup final to see how he has performed during his time in England.
The Premier League have enjoyed the most successful era of any football league in history. That success has come from the talent that has been produced in the country, from the players that have graced our domestic scene.
Yet, that success has not always been spread evenly. Sometimes a player comes through that transforms the footballing landscape of his home country.
And while those players will always be remembered, it is important that we acknowledge those who have been involved in making it happen, and who have helped to make the English game the best in the world. We take a look at those players who have had a key role in the success of the Premier League over the last few years. Jermain Defoe. (Image: Daily Mirror). From the day Jermain Defoe signed for the club, he has been a key figure in their history. He was signed to replace the iconic Roy Keane, but as with all top class strikers, Defoe took some time to adapt to English football.
He started off his Premier League career in sensational fashion. He bagged 12 goals in his first season at the club, including a hat trick against Manchester United. A year later, Defoe had a fantastic 2011-12 campaign. He netted 16 goals, which helped him win the PFA Fans' Player of the Year award.
In his second season at the club, Defoe netted just five goals, a drop from the previous season. His form was criticised by many at the time, and he was often on the bench. But after a loan spell at Toronto FC, he scored his goal for the club against Tottenham to regain his place in the starting XI.
Since then, Defoe has become one of the most prolific scorers in the Premier League. In 2013-14 he scored 25 goals, the highest tally by a striker in the division since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009-10.
Defoe has shown his versatility since joining the club, scoring a variety of goals and winning the FA Cup. This season, Defoe has netted seven goals in 14 appearances.
