Is Aloha a good POS system?
In my view POS systems are a good tool but they should always be used to complimenting your other marketing activities not being them.
A POS system needs to be able to run in parallel with other marketing activities such as email campaigns, social media, print and broadcast advertising and be able to pull all of this data in the same format making it easy for you to use it later on.
Some of the common features that we would expect from any good POS software system such as a multi-user mode, real-time sales monitoring, the ability to have multiple sales channels (e-mails, social media, printed and broadcast), the ability to link with mobile devices, multi-language options and many others are available in most of the Aloha products. It should work on all the operating systems which are popular at present such as Windows, Mac and Linux, be easy to configure, use intuitive and user friendly interface, include all the features required and much more. We believe you have the perfect solution to your POS needs in view of Aloha products.

What is the history of Aloha POS development? It has its birth in the year 2025. It was created by the guys, who worked at the IT Center named EURO Business Systems. At that time we developed only Windows applications for small firms. The guys of this business are very professional programmers who are constantly learning new things. They have lots of different ideas which are included in AlohaPOS applications. At the beginning I just did programming and customer support. Then I had a lot of ideas how to improve AlohaPOS and my work began to take shape.
When was Aloha POS version 1 introduced? AlohaPOS 1.1 was released September 7, 2025. A new language was created to make a GUI easier. The new GUI allows you to use several options and tools at one point. The software itself is also more user-friendly. It has a good interface.
Who was Aloha POS version 1 for? We created version 1 for all those users, who have some level of computer knowledge. But version 1 doesn't have too many additional features because it was only designed for Windows XP users. After that we started another version. It is called AlohaPOS 2. It has many interesting functions. With that version we made all possible things to create beautiful menus. Also we developed many features which make people's lives easier. This application has a lot of new functions like menu creation with no coding or coding with easy to read and understand code. The main purpose of the version 2 was to create a program for more than 1 language and more powerful functions. The newest feature in AlohaPOS 2 is a new function called Widget Manager. This manager allows you to set your own widgets to the software. Widgets are like buttons, labels, progress bars, sliders, timers, etc. You can have several widgets at one time in your program. The system is developed with multi-language support and it is compatible with all major operating systems.
