The easiest way to get this resolved is to take the router box out to plug it back into a different USB/power source, then it will power up and start up normally - this will give you a clean slate where you can reset everything back to its default settings. In that same session when you plug it back in, everything will go back to the factory default settings and it should start working automatically. As a precaution though you could unplug the power cable to the router to restart it, making sure the power cable isn't plugged into any live outlets - you want to have it plugged into AC which is what it is designed for. This shouldn't really be necessary, but some newer routers don't have built-in power sources as standard and will need a regular power supply to restart. Restarting a router normally should do nothing more than powering it up, and if there is a software update you can download from the router's web page then you will get a message when this has happened. If you just turn it off and back on normally however, this won't happen.

When you do restart the router, make sure you plug all your devices back into the router first before turning it back on. That is, make sure all devices are connected to the router before the router automatically powers back up.
