Why is Bark blocking all internet?

Can bark block websites on iPhone?

How to disable internet access on your iPhone - what's the best way?

By Stephen Hutcheon. The internet has been a great boon to the world. From the birth of the World Wide Web to the development of blogs, social media and the mobile web it has become a very important part of most people's lives, providing useful information, entertainment and convenience to users all over the world. However, this also means that if you have an iPhone or an iPad, you have a valuable tool that has the potential to be turned into a weapon.

While most of the time this potential is a positive thing (especially when it comes to being able to connect to the internet for safety reasons), some people use their devices in a manner that goes against these purposes. For example, there are some who take it upon themselves to prevent others from accessing certain websites using the built-in Block website function.

However, does this mean that when you have a problem on your iPhone or iPad the best course of action is to disable the internet altogether and take no action? No, far from it. The truth is that when faced with the challenge of not having access to the internet and limited knowledge of technical issues, it is best to use available resources to get to the root of the problem.

If it seems as if you cannot access the internet because of an issue with your iPhone or iPad you need to make sure you are on a secure Wi-Fi network, and then try clearing any caches or browsing history. This can be easily done by going to your Settings, then tapping General and then Clear All Data.

You can also try to turn off your Wi-Fi using your phone's power switch (not the home button) and then turning the Wi-Fi back on again. Finally, if that fails, you may need to have your iPhone or iPad repaired by a qualified service provider.

We want to make it clear that we do not condone people blocking content, and we do not advise that you install any apps that do so. However, if you are experiencing a genuine and valid problem and you feel like no other solution exists then this option is always available to you.

Does bark interfere with Wi-Fi?

The answer is no.

Wi-Fi is a different technology from that of the cable- or phone-connectivity technologies. So any bark, whether it's made with wire or wireless technology, won't affect the signals going through it.

How can I be sure my WiFi router is installed properly? The easiest way to be sure that the location and orientation of your router is correct is to look in the manual. It should say something like this: "WiFi Access Point installed at, ." Look for a dot somewhere near those directions. If you don't find it, you're probably installing your access point upside down or backward. You may have purchased an older access point than what's called for in the directions. That's normal and doesn't mean anything wrong.

If you don't see any manual information about your access point's location, look at the sticker on the side. It should include a picture of the router and some written information. Figure 2-2 shows what a typical side sticker for an access point looks like.

FIGURE 2-2: A standard sticker for an access point includes these pieces of information. Is there anything special I need to do to connect to my access point when it's installed properly? No. After your access point is in its proper location, you can connect to the access point using the network address it provides. The network address is a specific number combination that represents your wireless network and all computers on the network. For example, you may use the address 192.168.15. If you're using a wireless access point, the number on the sticker may not match the actual network address of your wireless router. In that case, make sure the number printed on the sticker matches the network name you entered for the access point in the router configuration tool.

As a last resort, try the network address of a computer on your wireless network by using the command `arp-a` and typing in the network address of the access point. When you do so, you should see a list of network computers connected to that access point. If you see the network name of a computer on your network, that means the network name you entered for your access point in the router configuration tool is correct. In this example, your network might have the name HAPPY.COM.
