I have been researching bark control for my area and have read all over the internet that a bark collar works the best.

I am looking at the bark collars that are sold on Amazon and they all say that they work, but I have never had a dog that barked before and I don't want to put one on my dog if it isn't going to help. Are there any other options? Is it possible to get a dog that is hyperactive and have it not bark?

My dog doesn't bark often, but he was raised on a farm and he was one of the many farm dogs who are pretty bad at not barking. My husband's parents owned a large farm in upstate New York and they always had a dog or two on the farm who did a lot of barking, but never in our home. They would be outside barking and the windows would be rattling, but in our home they were always very well behaved. Our dog is a little better behaved than their dogs were.

Can I please say to all of you who are telling me to get the bark app off my dog's phone. Don't. I have no clue where this person is coming from, but it is clear that they have been talking with a lot of other people and I don't want the negative comments. I've never seen any behavior issues in my dog. He's very happy and healthy, he sleeps well and listens well.
