Why does my T-Mobile hotspot box say no internet connection?

Why is my hotspot secured but no internet?

My hotspot is secured with a WPA2 encrypted network, but I can still not access the internet.

When I search for the internet using Google, it appears to be accessible, but it is unable to load webpages. The connection is slow though, but when I look at the network connection, the connection shows as secured. Does this mean that I have to be able to connect without any security? Is there a way to make sure that my device is always secured even while not connected to my secured network?

The two are not linked in any way: Hotspot secures the connection to the rest of the network, the Internet connection is an entirely different thing. And as long as there are no open connections to the Internet, it doesn't matter if the hotspot is secure. You can only access the Internet with the secure connection if all your clients are somehow on the secured connection. And they have to authenticate to your secure connection in some way, so the connection has to be initiated by you.

Why does my phone hotspot say connected but no internet?

I have a T-mobile MDA 730g hotspot.

For some reason, it says connected but no internet at all. It isn't even trying to connect (but if I try to do so, it says "No internet connection")

The "connected" button is a bit of a problem; it's just there for a few seconds. It doesn't always connect either. Sometimes it connects automatically (and works well) but sometimes it doesn't connect at all (it stays connected, however).

Is there a software problem or is it something else? Re: ? Yes! It works if you connect your phone but it's not fast at all. In fact, the data is slower than even the cheapest phones.

I just called t-mobile and they said that since the date of the day is a holiday it's not working on Saturdays. However, they had no way to fix it, so I'll just have to wait until Monday. I was planning to use the internet on the holiday anyway.

Is there any way I could fix this without buying a new phone? Is it an Android problem? I got it for free from someone who wasn't using it. I had the same issue. T-Mobile had no service Saturday - so you either get it on Tuesday or Friday. I was at work most of the day Saturday. So I couldn't test this. (They had no idea how it could be fixed - but did say it was probably because of the Holiday.

Since I paid full price for it, I called my local Best Buy store and they gave me a free t-mobile SIM card that they said they would activate for me.

How to reset T-Mobile Franklin T9 hotspot?

I reset the T-Mobile Franklin T9 hotspot and I can't get it to connect.

I tried using the steps from this link . That didn't work, but maybe I did it wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is important to note that your hotspot will need to be reset multiple times, if the first attempt fails, you will need to reset it again. Steps: Turn off your T-Mobile hotspot. Turn on your T-Mobile hotspot. Turn it off. Turn it back on. Once the green button turns green, wait a few minutes and turn your device back on. Restart your phone or turn it off and back on again, so it resets the device. This process may take several attempts. Notes: Note that if you do not see the yellow box on the Reset Screen, make sure you press both buttons at once when you turn on your phone. Make sure you allow at least a few minutes between attempts. It can take more than one attempt to successfully reset your phone.

Also note that it will take up to 2 days for your device to finish updating. You may see a message indicating that there are network problems when you first start the update process.

If you have multiple people in your household that use your T-Mobile device, you may need to reset it for each person. Can you add a comment to the steps above that say that if you keep getting errors or something else, that there may be an updated firmware version available that is needed? Something like that?
