Is Mullvad better than NordVPN?

We've long been fans of Mullvad, one of the most respected VPN providers on the market. They're not based in the USA but are based in Sweden, and we use and recommend Mullvad for a lot of reasons.

In terms of speed, Mullvad tops NordVPN in nearly every test. They have a lot of server locations, and in-depth testing shows that they are blazing fast when used with the right settings.

That said, Mullvad does have some drawbacks. They have a reputation for having an oddly dark interface, but that's not a bad thing it's actually quite simple.

Mullvad also has a high price tag, and they're not a VPN we frequently recommend to everyone. It wasn't until recently that we started recommending that you try using Mullvad, so let's go over their pros and cons.

What are the Mullvad VPN Pros? Mullvad's main selling point is that they have an incredibly well-regarded customer support team. In fact, they're one of the highest-rated VPN support teams on the market.

They offer 24/7 technical support within the app, offering to help users with issues, and if you have a problem, you can send an email to them and they'll usually reply within an hour or so. Mullvad offers a lot of server locations, and in terms of speed, they're often one of the fastest VPN services you'll find. At the time of writing, Mullvad has 1,300 server locations, and we've tested them extensively with thousands of servers. Mullvad is notably one of the fastest VPNs you can find - the reason they can offer so many servers is that they use cloud servers.

Mullvad's speeds are consistently excellent and they are authorized by Netflix, Disney, and other huge streaming services. With such a large server network, Mullvad typically offers some of the best speeds you can find.

Mullvad doesn't have a very focused user base, but they take security very seriously and aim to provide a secure product.

Does Mullvad keep payment info?

I've been using Mullvad for over a year now and I have never been asked for any payment info when I have bought from them. If it's not possible for them to keep the payment info, then why not have the payment info be optional? even if the payment info is not kept, the order confirmation info in the mail will be kept, (the merchant info) eg the letter could be sent with the order confirmation info. I've never had to provide payment information when ordering a product but I think it's safe to assume that all reputable merchants do keep it for your protection. Vicarious Agent for Mullvad. I don't get it, how is it in any way reasonable to retain payment info when ordering? They have a merchant account and it is in their interest that no one makes payments to them without receiving a confirmation from them that the payment has been received. How could you possibly intend to use Mullvad if you have to provide payment info? If you're planning on buying from Mullvad again, making a purchase is a lot easier if payment info is not required. If you're planning on buying from them again? Child's play. How can you be so sure of that? they'd get a lot of spam, way more than if they had to provide some sort of address to receive it, so the success rate would be way lower. Do you think this would be a good avenue for a botnet to operate?
