Can I have a US and UK Apple ID?
If yes, How? I am only able to make one of them work.
Is it possible to log into a third party site with a user other than the one I created it with? AFAIK no you cannot have two different apple ids, a personal apple id will link an account to your hardware, software and any accounts on your devices or macbooks etc. And it is used for purchasing apps, etc. Whereas a business id is only used for businesses.
If it is an email account used in your businesses then you should think about setting up business accts on both your personal ids, as your business does not have a username / password they use your personal ids email login info. If you wish to use two different business ids then you need to have your own email server/mail server set up. I would recommend getting a free .onion tld from if you need to get a free website.
This way you can easily switch between your "personal" and "business" apple accounts at any point and still have access to all your personal apple IDs.
How do I create a UK Apple ID?
To register a new Apple ID for use on a UK based Apple device, use the following steps: Go to My Apple ID and choose your country/region from the dropdown box at the top right of the page. Choose "Create a New Apple ID", then sign in with your details. How do I get an app or add my existing credit card to iTunes? After signing into the App Store with your Apple ID and Password, you may find that some apps are available for download and you can't get them. To resolve this issue: If the apps you want to get have 'In-app' Purchases, make sure you have an App Store Card (linked to your bank account), not a credit card linked to your account. You will need to confirm this when buying the app or you won't be able to download it.
Open the App Store app and tap 'iTunes' then select the app you want to purchase. On the next screen there should be an option to Add a Credit Card linked to your iTunes account. If you haven't got one - head over to www.com to get your free debit/credit card, which you can use with any payment method, even your Apple Wallet and Apple Pay.
You'll then be given the option to Add your card to your iTunes account. Enter the Card number, expiry date and security code (optional) and hit Add.
This will only add the card and let you purchase that app. To finish the purchase you will need to return to your purchase history and accept or decline the purchase. Then, tap the 'purchase accepted' button.
Your purchase can also be found in your 'Apple ID' section. From here you can view your App Store purchases and find out more information about the purchase including your receipt number.
Note: Your App Store cards used to make in-app purchases for downloaded apps don't carry over to your iPhone as a backup Apple Wallet Card. Instead, they get transferred to your iCloud account as an iCloud.com purchase. That means when you get your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch back you'll be able to use the App Store card linked to your iCloud account to make payments for apps that have been previously purchased using that card.
How do I change my Apple ID from US to UK?
I live in the UK but my Apple ID is still set up in the US. How do I change this? I have my UK iTunes Store account and use my UK phone number to sign into it. However, every time I try to buy an app or song or anything it tells me that my payment details are invalid. Why is this?
My Apple ID was set up by my previous ISP which used to sell me services. They sold me a phone number (which I've never used) and an Apple ID (which is the one I'm trying to change). When they gave me the phone number and Apple ID, they asked me to fill out their form, and I didn't notice that there was a "country" field for this form. I thought it was just meant to tell them what country the number was in, but now I have to change my Apple ID to UK so I can actually use the service. How do I do this?
I'm afraid that's not possible because the only valid Apple ID is tied to your current billing address and your previous ISP has no way of knowing your billing address. I'd need to get in touch with the ISP in question to see if they can provide a new billing address for you.
Thanks, my ISP has just emailed me and let me know that they can no longer sell me services and have handed me over to a different ISP who will be able to help me. However, I'm still a bit confused about how I change my Apple ID from US to UK. They haven't provided me with any instructions and I'm wondering if there are any other settings I need to change to make this work? They sold me a phone number (which I've never used) and an Apple ID (which is the one I'm trying to change).
