I wanted to ask about the channels DIRECTV STREAM not had.i live in Canada. And when I was trying to order it,it said no channels are available.so how can I check and find out what channel not available anymore?and can I be able to see it on my TV?or am I going to find it online?

You may be calling a home number (which is an individual phone number) which is local to you. Call them directly at (416) 561-1334. I have had my HD cable and HD internet service for years now and they haven't discontinued any channels (yet anyway. Good luck

Direct tv is still in the process of discontinuing and relaunching its satellite lineups, there is no easy way to know that yet.

When I went to the website, it said that if you have a Directv tv subscription, it is already included.95 a month. I signed up for this and it says that there is no price for that. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

If your older relative doesn't have internet service from their provider, you need to go to your account and click "Manage My Services" and go to the "Internet Access" tab. It will show your current services. If you have a home phone with landline, then that would be part of your internet access. If not, you have to add internet access. Once you add the internet access to your account, you can change your monthly bill to your older relative and they will get an email asking them to confirm their request. After that, it will be charged to the person's account.

I think I figured out what you are saying. It doesn't show anything about internet access. What I do have is a land line phone and a wireless router. I don't know if that is enough. I am going to call them in the morning and see what they say.

My husband was just told by Directv that they no longer have a 55 plan for seniors. He will be canceling and looking at Dish, as they have the cheapest package (Sling TV) without commercials.

Can I print a direct TV guide?

Or at least something that will help me figure out what channels I can record in my DVR? I only have Comcast cable service (no dvrs) so I do not have any digital recording capability. I am interested in getting the Xfinity app, however it looks like it will allow you to watch and record programs off of xfinity.com. Can I print or view a direct TV guide instead of clicking through the website? I use a tablet for surfing the web, but for getting the cable guide it would be nice if I could use something other than my browser (I'm stuck on IE11)

You will need to get a guide from another source, such as an OTA broadcast station, or even an OTA TV receiver box. And even those will be useless for determining which broadcast channel you will be receiving for some reason. If you do use an OTA broadcast source to determine what program guide will be used, then the guide will not even be relevant to your specific location.

When I was a child, my mother always used to say to me that when I was older, all I'd have to do is just follow the directions.
