What channels does DIRECTV STREAM not have?

I have DIRECTV and I can't get the channel DIRECTV STREAM.

I've tried contacting DIRECTV about this and they claim they have a channel that I can watch. How do I know for sure? Is there a list of channels that DIRECTV STREAM does not have?

It's not something that can be easily found on the web, but if you call Directv's 1-800 number and ask for "channel information", they will give you a list of all the channels that they currently have. I don't know if you have to have a specific receiver, but you should be able to get a list of all the channels.

What's the channel guide for DIRECTV streaming, for example at my DTV receiver?

I am trying to understand which are the stations I can play for the most number of people (or least number of channels that I have to choose from). Is there a list for DIRECTV direct to DTV receivers? I've heard of some models that could pull data from various sources and present it in an easier to view format, but I haven't personally been able to try this. There are lots of good information over on the DirecTV website that gives info on everything from how many channels are available in various areas, to the availability of local programming such as ABC affiliates. There should also be some form of a guide provided, like with DirecTV satellite receiver, where this is all done before the installation begins and should have all the channels listed along with their respective channels. For HDTV though, if you have one with HD tuners in it, the HDTV list will be different than what you're used to as it might not have every HD available unless they have been converted to MPEG2 or Dolby TrueHD.

I don't know about the DIRECTV online interface, but for the satellite/cable interface you can download the table in pdf format that shows all these things, although they take a while to upload it. If you look at one of these tables you will see that most are in 4X5 and some 7X8 dimensions, I believe this will work at your local DIRECTV site.
