Is there a 3rd movie to All the Boys I've Loved Before?
I've been loving All the Boys I've Loved Before.
It's a romantic comedy/drama and it has a lighthearted, comedic feel. If you're looking for drama, this isn't for you. And if you want a serious, emotional film, this isn't for you. But if you want something where all the characters in the movie are likable, a bit relatable, and you laugh hysterically at their jokes, you'll be able to find a few hours of entertainment with this movie.
This is one of those movies that makes me happy in every scene, whether or not they were in danger. Even the non-dangerous scenes had my giggling while watching them. At least until I realized that Noah Centineo's (the guy who plays "Chandler Bing") voice was similar to Tom Cruise's. Haha! My favorite part about this movie is that when each of the four sisters is talking to the different guys, they were so believable in their feelings and thoughts. They weren't simply put together to be funny lines. They have personalities just like the characters they are portraying.
My favorite parts of this movie were the music videos. There's one for each of the boys. Each one has a song that relates to their personality/personality trait. There are so many ways to interpret them. Even if the interpretations are wrong, the music videos still made me giggle. There are parts in which the girls cry too much. That part gets a little ridiculous at times.
As far as the movie goes, it's okay. I think I would rather watch a documentary instead. I also think that more than half of the movie focused on all the boys. I don't think that the movie was completely balanced on the male/female ratio.
Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes. How do you feel about this review? Great!99 and thought I'd buy some for Christmas presents this year! What do you think? I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice romantic comedy. I'm glad that I saw it during Christmas vacation before New Year's break. Now I don't feel so bad for spending so much time on it. ;-)

Will there be a fourth movie to All the Boys?
I'm not sure how it could be possible.
So I'd like to ask some questions which I will likely answer in the "no" portion of this list. First, though, here's a quick list of things I want you all to think about:
How old is all the boy? How did they get to be all the boys? What does it mean that they're "all the boys?" How does the narrator know their names? Is this a first-person narrative or a third-person one? If you think the fourth movie would be more of the same, ask yourself: "Would I want to watch any kind of All the Boys movie again? Could I watch this movie a second time?" If you say "no," that probably means the answer is "no" and now you get to tell me why. The original film doesn't have a real fourth chapter. When it was released, I'd never seen it. I wasn't sure if it was good or bad, and if it was as good as what the internet told me it was. I saw two trailers for it, one of which promised me some kind of "fourth chapter" or "epilogue." Neither trailer included footage that was actually included in the film. The internet seems to agree with me, but then again, it agrees with people who don't like the movie.
I did ask a friend whose opinion I trust (I trust myself less than anyone else) about this. She was pretty much at a loss as to explain why she didn't like the movie, except to say that she found herself wishing for "different" scenes and characters. This seemed pretty reasonable to me.
My only guess is that those "different scenes" were supposed to make the movie interesting, but ended up feeling gimmicky. So there was something better for the movie to be, and instead it got bogged down by the gimmick. In this case, I believe the gimmick was an attempt at a big, deep, character-building epilogue that didn't actually work, which left a bunch of "gimmickty" stuff on the cutting room floor. (Another attempt at such a thing was made by The Ice Storm, but this movie's gimmick is better than The Ice Storm's was.)
All the Boys has very few new characters, but a lot of returning characters.
