I can watch local channels on Sling TV but I can't seem to be able to watch local channels on Amazon Prime.

Is there some sort of trick or anything that works for you? Edit: I found something on How To Watch Live Sports Events on Local Channels on Amazon Channels in Sling TV. The gist is the channel name would be 'amazontv' but you need the 'local sports' add-on which doesn't work if you don't have a regional sports package or an access to ESPN.
