How do I authorize my TV for Plex?

Where do I enter the Plex code?

I have an OTA-HDTV with a Tvheadend and a PS3. Hi again!I don't use a PS3, but maybe that's what you're using instead of a PS4. In that case, you need to find out the Plex username and password, from the user interface. But first, make sure that Plex is set up and that the IP address in that interface is the correct IP for the PS3. Otherwise, Plex will just try to use the wrong settings, and you'll get no picture at all, which should let you know that something is wrong.

In my case, the IP address is 10.7, and the user name is Plex and the plex password is 123456. I used this information because I wanted to test the PS3 by myself without sharing it.

I haven't tried that much with PS4s, but I'm pretty sure that it works the same. The Plex setup will tell you if it has anything to connect.

I would suggest you to download the Plex for PS3 app and follow the guide at . It's very easy, and you just need to run the program on your PS3. You don't have to add any extra software. If it still doesn't work, check the Plex IP address again. Make sure that the IP address in the app is the same as the IP address in the web interface.

You can also change the IP address in the web interface. From the Advanced tab in the bottom left corner of the page.

I am not 100% sure, but I think you can only use it to stream from a computer or a NAS. I know that you can play your videos on the PS3, but you cannot stream them (it shows up as "Streaming is disabled") from the console, as you need a PC. If I'm wrong, please let me know. I'm looking for a solution that lets me play videos that are stored on a NAS as well as a PS3.

I think there are a couple of possibilities for this.
