You can download the app from the following link. Once the app is installed, launch the app on your FireStick and go to the home screen. Tap on the Apps icon. Then select Plex from the list of apps. Tap on Install. You will be asked to confirm the install. After the install completes, tap on the Plex icon. Follow the instructions in the app to install the Plex Media Server app. After the app is installed, you can sign into your Plex account.
Once you have signed in, you should see the following screen: You can select your account information by selecting the circle on the top right corner of the screen. You will see all of your media servers listed on the right side of the screen.
If you don't see your media server, you can add it by selecting the Add a server button at the bottom left of the screen. Once you select your server, you will be prompted to sign in. Select the user name and password that you use to sign into your Plex account. Then select Connect. You can see your Plex media server in the list on the right side of the screen.
You can additional users by selecting the plus sign icon at the bottom right of the screen. When you select Add a user, you will be prompted to sign in.
Once you select the user name and password, you will be prompted to select the user's picture. You can select the default profile, which is the default profile for that user, or you can select your own image.
Where do I enter my Plex code?
Plex code is a free code that you can use to download extra features from the Plex web site for your Plex server.
This is separate from the code required to connect Plex to your device. Your Plex player will always come with the most basic functionality which we call "FreePlex". FreePlex does not require any Plex code and enables users to download videos from sites like YouTube, Metacafe, Vimeo and other content sources using the open protocols HLS and DASH that let other players decode your content automatically without requiring any additional setup on your server. A Plex code is the unique ID that unlocks additional features in your Plex Media Server. The Plex code can be used in place of a username and password to log in to Plex. If your Plex client supports the use of multiple Plex servers you will be asked for your user id and code. A Plex code can also be generated for free at the Plex website.
What Plex Code is not. Plex media server and Plex Media Server are two different products. Plex Media Server is what your Plex client connects to. You can use Plex to play or stream media from your network or cloud storage. To connect your Plex server to your TV, you need a HDMI cable, a wireless receiver, and an HDMI splitter. You also need a Plex Pass subscription to watch movies and TV shows from Plex Media Server.
The Plex Pass allows you to play back the movies and TV shows on your TV. It also allows you to access the full Plex library on your devices, and to share your library with other people.
With the Plex Pass, you can also use Plex to play audio from your computer speakers or headphones, and control Plex from your phone, tablet, or other device. How do I set up a Plex Pass? Plex is set up in one of two ways. You can either get a Plex Pass directly from Plex, or you can get a Plex Pass from Plex's website.
