How do I make links open straight to the app in iPhone?

I have a project in which users can create an event in our app.

When they click the add event link in the mail, it directs them to our app and the link is of the format When they click on it, I get a page saying. There was a problem with the link. But when they click on it, it redirects them to the link and it works fine. I just want it to open in our app without them having to click "add event". How do I make it open in the app?

By default, the Chrome app opens links in Google Chrome.

You can change this behavior by creating a file called chrome.openinchrome at the root of your app's data. This file is a JSON object that includes the options to control whether any given link will open in Google Chrome or any other app. See the documentation to learn more.

Once you've added the .openinchrome file, you can control the URLs that will open in your app by uploading the URL in the API Console and updating the properties you want the app to respond to in chrome.
