Should I turn on configure proxy on my iPhone?
I am using iPhone as my mobile data provider, and I have a 3G connection.
Recently I have a problem with 3G connection: It is very slow. I checked the 3G network on iPhone, it is quite stable. But when I use the PC browser to check 3G network, it is very unstable.
I think this is because I have a proxy. So, I should turn on the proxy on iPhone.
My question is: Is it really important? You can only use proxy if you are behind a firewall that allows the ports of your proxy to be accessed. The standard proxy port for HTTP is 80, and for HTTPS is 443. So, if you are behind a firewall that allows these ports to be accessed, then you can use a proxy.
