How to show notifications on lock screen Samsung s23?
I've already set a wallpaper and the lock screen on my Samsung s23, but I can't see notifications (I have a few). How can I? If you have installed Samsung Smart Switch app, which is available in Google play store, then you will have notifications on lock screen. I had installed this app for my other device as well and found that it has good usability. You can turn on and off notifications from your phone by swiping right or left on lock screen of Galaxy S2/S3/Note.
How do I get text notifications on my Samsung s23?
I've recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S23 and I would like to enable text notifications on the phone to see what's going on when I'm not near my phone.
I've looked in the settings app but I can't seem to see it under any of the "push" section. Is it supposed to be there, and just buried? Is there a way to access it from outside of the settings app?
On the S22, this was easy: you just select the "Notifications" category and scroll down. However, I can't find the "Notifications" category on the S23. Can anyone help me please?
I have been trying to enable the s2 features since I got the phone but its not opening or working. I have tried to reinstall but that dosent work also. Any help would be great
Go to the Menu by clicking where it says 'Menu'. Go to the last option and click on 'Menu All Settings'. Select 'Application (Settings') then 'Notification'. Scroll down till you find 'Messaging (message)'. Select it. If you are using another language like Norwegian, there will be different button pictures, but you should be able to get to this screen by pressing and holding the volume up button as you press the power button. Select 'Application (Settings') then 'Notification'. Scroll down till you find 'Messaging (message)'.
How do I get to the Menu without holding the screen? I'd rather not buy any more apps if possible. The "Home" icon has been replaced by "Menu" by the way. In my case the problem is solved by downloading a modified version of WhatsApp, and after that simply changing your settings. This mod fixes the problem with notifications (with one exception): you can use WhatsApp as normal in all cases, but the phone will vibrate and not display new WhatsApp messages automatically.
How do I make my lock screen notifications visible?
My lock screen notifications disappear.
Is there any way to make them visible? They appear briefly as a square in the top-left corner, then go away after a few seconds. The only thing on my Lock Screen right now is the date, and the only options are to "Turn Off", "Toggle the lights", and "Turn the lights on". No "Hide" or "Make visible" available anywhere.
The default option for lockscreen notifications is that they appear only for 30 seconds, and then they go away. I haven't found a setting to change this. But the LockScreenNotifications feature allows you to have them appear for 1 second, 4 minutes, 8 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, 10 hours, and 24 hours.
I have the most common apps, but the lockscreen notifications for those are turned off. There are two things you can try: 1) Set all of the settings to something that works better for your usage and make it the new "default". And then when using other users you can check the LockScreenNotification settings, so you can get back to using the normal option.
2) Make sure you're logged in. That is, your phone has turned on and unlocked before you click on the lock screen in "Normal mode".
3) There is a bug in the settings for the LockScreenNotifications, and the "Toggle the lights" option actually activates a dim screen when you're using the lock screen for several minutes. But it's a good way to see if you're being bugged, so I still encourage it as a trial. To fix the problem, you need to set LockScreenNotifications to "Show for one minute" and toggle the "Show light" option. Then, the "Toggle the lights" option isn't supposed to do anything anymore.
If you've got access to System Settings and can turn the clock off, then you can try to add a new lock screen wallpaper. If nothing else helps, it's worth trying. I've had many different wallpapers in the past, and none of them is as good as the standard Google or Android default, which isn't a very large size.
Well, I found a solution! The "Show for one minute" and the "Toggle the lights" options are not bugs. Both really work.
