What browsers are like Aloha to download?

Is Aloha Browser available on PC?

I just wanted to know if anyone has Aloha's browser on PC.

I just purchased it, but the CD is Windows-only. Is there any way to put in the "PC" version onto my Windows platform? Does it work? I don't really care if I can't browse all the sites that's why I'm so excited with the idea. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
~Dani.e. Hi Dani. The PC edition is not available for sale. You could contact them here: Aloha Software Support for more info.

Thanks for the information. The support team really has no idea how many sites I visit, and I have to use other browsers. So I need a solution for this. Thanks again.

What they said you can download from here.but it works better if you can read a few pages.(I use a scanner and it won't read this) so what I did was saved it to a word or text document and then opened it in another program and searched until I found the info I wanted!
It seems to me Aloha is really trying to improve on what the current competition offers in terms of technology and content but if they can put out a version for PC, you could also imagine Aloha being on the Xbox, Pippo, and other handhelds, but it would better if they put out a PC version. I'm not sure why we're still trying to make the case that Aloha needs to be replaced by an iPhone? Aloha is an industry leader because it's not only an excellent Firefox/Firefox OS browser, but it's also one of the most widely distributed browsers. It has an enormous user base of hundreds of millions of people, and thus the potential traffic (to their servers and websites) is much higher than that of the much smaller competitors.

What is the same like Aloha Browser?

Like it does not remember passwords from other applications, or any other useful feature?

Aloha Browser is written for KDE which is a different programming environment from that of Firefox and so on. While Aloha Browser works in the same way, it is not exactly the same. If you want to compare it to Opera, please check out .

Yes, I think the browser should remember the history and use that for searching. The current way of using it is a combination of typing and guessing, because the search doesn't match anything. And when you want to use Google to search, your history must be cleared since it gets cleared every time you close it.

What is the difference between Aloha Browser and Opera's browser. Aloha Browser and Opera are browsers from different operating systems, hence the two have their differences. Aloha Browser is a KDE browser with a different programming structure, and hence the user interface is very different. Opera has a very simple user interface which makes it very easy for the users to understand.

Yes, I agree that Aloha Browser is not same like the default browser of Ubuntu. It is not meant to be the default browser. It has some basic functionalities. It is meant to be the default browser if the user does not have any installed browser.

As you said, there is difference in the interface and structure of the browser but still it should be able to do all the basic things a normal browser does. Such as, the ability to type in URL and see the address in the address bar, and also the ability to choose a bookmark from the bookmarks bar. I hope this helps.

We cannot make a difference of Aloha Browser and Firefox just because it is written in the same programming environment. There are many applications that are written in different programming environments but they can still be compared as such. But Aloha Browser and Opera cannot be compared just because they are both written in the same programming environment.
