Is Skyroam the same as Solis?

If not, how are they different?

Skyroam was the name for the "Rival" series. Solis is the name of the original X-2 that was based on the A-10 Warthog. The original X-2 was the first model of the Solis and was produced from 1991-2001.

As far as I know, the Skyroam was the only Rival Series. They also made a model called the "Combat" which was basically a re-skin of the X-2 but with a new front gun sight and a modified tail hook. It was never released.

There was also the "Lancer" which was a modified X-2 with some other changes. This was also never released.

How much does Skyroam cost per month?

Skyroam is a subscription based internet service that offers international calls and messaging.

Calls are charged at the call rate applicable in the country you call from, plus a connection fee, per minute or SMS message, as well as taxes where applicable. All calls are charged in British Pounds Sterling.

A minimum of 3.99 per month must be paid upfront.

Call rates in UK and Ireland. Calling between countries where you need to pay additional charges for using your mobile phone number, you are charged for local calls at a standard rate set by the country you are calling from. In other words, you will be charged for all local calls as if you were located in the UK. For example, if you make a call from a location in the USA to a location in France, where your phone is registered in the UK, the call will be charged at the standard UK rate. If you make a call between locations in France, the call will be charged at the standard French rate.

You will also be charged for making international calls at the rate applicable in the country you call from. International call rates for your mobile phone. The standard rates apply to mobile phone calls charged to a phone in the UK and Ireland, provided it is a standard, UK, GSM mobile phone. Calls made using a phone in the USA, Canada, Australia, India, Japan or New Zealand are charged at different rates. These international call rates are listed below.

Is Skyroam Solis worth it?

I know that the Skyroam Solis is a "must-have" item, but I was wondering whether anyone knows what it does and whether it's worth the money.

I have a Sony VAIO laptop (the latest model) with Windows 7, and I do all my programming work on it, so I'd like to get a second screen. The Skyroam Solis looks interesting, but I'm not sure how to choose between the 4 sizes offered. Any thoughts?

Skyroam has a 2 year guarantee, so it's worth a shot. But if you're already comfortable with having 2 monitors, maybe just buy a second monitor and be done with it? There are some great deals at Best Buy, for instance.99 at Wal-Mart. But then, that's only half as much as you'd pay for a Skyroam Solis.

I've been looking at a Dell 20" monitor (1920x1200 pixels). The Dell has a built in screen mirroring function, and the 20" is a full-sized monitor. I like the fact that the screen mirrors, and it has HDMI port, USB port, and built-in speakers. This way I can use my Skyroam Solis and my Dell as separate monitors, and the whole thing will be one giant desktop display.
