What is the password for Solis 5g WiFi?

You are not allowed to use your personal password when accessing Solis 5g WiFi.

Your password for Solis 5g WiFi is only known to the admin and you will not receive a link or SMS to your mobile.

It is recommended that you login each time using a new device or wifi connection. A Solis 5g WiFi password reset may occur after login at Solis 5g WiFi.

If your mobile internet or mobile balance exceeds 1 GB daily, you will receive SMS message with request to add Solis 5g WiFi free daily quota which is equal to your cellular data plan. You can set up a daily limit on the number of web sessions allowed per day. The daily limit is automatically added to your mobile account balance upon request. The daily limit for the web service is applied to each session, so the daily limit will be applied even if you complete an internet session between multiple web services (this limits the number of times you can login in one session). The maximum daily limit of 30 MB per day has been implemented to restrict the free trial. The monthly quota is available for unlimited use in both the trial and active plans. Once your free trial days have expired, the web service will send a message requesting access to the web services with a limit of 30 MB per day (unless the web service is already configured at the desired limit.)

If the service is unable to connect to the server, it might not be able to check whether or not the connection is allowed, so we would like you to allow us to check this. We thank you very much in advance! Note: Please note that the daily allowance on Solis 5g WiFi does not include the allowance of 2 MB per second for browsing (which is set by the web services). Note:The quota is charged to your mobile data plan, but your prepaid balance won't be billed. How to change Solis Lite WiFi password?

Hello all.

I have a few questions.

It appears that some Solis Lite's have a default network name that allows for passwordless access. How can I change the password on these if the default name (and password) pre-installation is the same as my home network's password? Is there any way around this? I would like to be able to keep the standard password on our other routers while adding the Solis Lite's without changing our current home router. It seems too big of a jump and most likely wouldn't work, but I'm curious to see if anyone has had luck with it. Thanks for any help!

I am not sure, you would need to change the WAP name and SSID which would make it easy. I do know that you can use the WPS system but your old router may not have that option.

How exactly does that help though? What if I'm not using WAP or anything else? In a situation such as that, how would you then get access back onto that network without a password? Would it require me to have two home networks? One with the Solis Lite and one without, since the Solis Lite only uses the WAP name I don't even need to remember a password. That's the first thing I wanted to know. You can set up the Solis Lite with password or no password. I'd just like to set up the default name so I can enter a password again if need be. Thanks for your time!
So WPS is one of the options? Would you be able to set up a user name? It would be nice to have 2 networks. 1 password protected and 1 not password protected. Also, if you were to set up the Solis Lite with password or no password, is there a way to get back to the router's internal IP address from outside the network? It would be helpful in situations where something is not working well such as if the router was acting flaky. I think I read something along the lines of this here in the Solis Lite's forum.

How do I reset my Skyroam Solis?

I have used a few different programs on my computer to try and find this info but have had no luck.

Anyone know what part # its on the bottom of the phone or if it has an instruction sheet

Skyroam Solis is a smart device and in order to help you we can't sell it at a local store, you need an online Skyroam account. Here is how to reset your Skyroam Solis without losing all your information: Step 1 - Connect it with your PC or laptop to download all your personal files. Step 2 - Restart your device by putting a pin on the power icon (on the top of your main menu). It will start off in Recovery Mode - a simple mode that allows you to do basic things like view and connect your files. Now it's time to reboot into Windows again.

Step 3 - Once you've selected your OS there will be only three option left and two of them are easy (Settings and Help Center). Step 4 - Go to Apps and look for an app named Microsoft OneDrive. The one who appears has a check mark on it means you've already installed it.

Step 5 - Now connect your Skyroam Solis with the data cable to the wall socket and turn it on, follow the steps after the reboot screen. It will take a minute and then display a menu screen asking you to use a new PIN number and your Wi-Fi passwords. This is a security measure so don't worry.

Step 6 - When done disconnect your data cable and go to "Home", open OneDrive and it will be your last password step. On Windows 10 - this is located on the lock screen and on 7/8 the screen is located on "Desktop". Enter your new password. If done successfully your Skyroam Solis will now display the standard Windows screen again with your OneDrive folder that can also be used to connect to your files.

This guide can be tried again over and over without damaging anything and is a safe way to restore Skyroam Solis back to its original factory settings.
