How do I block an area code on my Panasonic phone?

I am using a Panasonic TG-3055 phone and it is only working in the USI want to block numbers from the NYC area code on my phone.

How do I do this? I don't see any settings for it.

I've been trying to find some information on the phone, but I can't find anything about blocking area codes. Is it possible to block these numbers? Or maybe block them for a certain time? I would like to be able to call my nephew in the NYC area code, but not be able to reach him if he doesn't pick up. I'd like to be able to talk to him when he answers, but he's too busy to pick up his phone.

Can you be more specific as to what phone you are using? The TG-3055 is a GSM phone that is capable of making calls across the US and Canada. If it's an older phone, it might be limited to calls within the US.

If you are using an older phone with no ability to make calls internationally, then you can block numbers from the NY area code by selecting the "Block" option and entering the area code and seven-digit number in the fields. This will only block calls from that number to your phone. You can also unblock that number at any time.

Thank you for the info. The phone I'm using is the newest Panasonic model, the TG-3055. It has the ability to make international calls, as well as the ability to receive calls from other countries, and to make calls within the USAs long as you have the latest firmware on the phone, then there is no need to upgrade to another firmware version.

In the menu system on the phone, go to "Phone". Then select "Phone", "Service". Then select "Call Control Settings". The "Call Control Settings" allows you to block numbers.
