I know that there is a lot of talk about using VPNs to hide your IP address, but I don't want to do that. I want to be able to just open up the app and get on the internet just like everyone else. I don't want to make my life more complicated, so I don't think I will ever use a VPN.

Is there any way to use a VPN for free? I'm guessing no, because then you would have to pay for the VPN service, and even if it was free, that would still make your IP address visible.

But the biggest problem with that would be that the proxy could change, or the person setting it up could block you. For instance, if you use a 3G hotspot at a Starbucks, the proxy could be used to log in and block you.
