How do I unblock my Panasonic cordless phone?
My husband took his cordless phone when we moved from a townhouse to our own home.
He has no idea where it is and the phone number is not programmed on our new land line. I want to unblock the phone but don't know how. If anyone knows what I need to do or where the phone is, help me out. Thanks!
When I was in law school, we took a class about copyright and one of the questions that we had to answer was, "Why can't I make a recording of music that I own?" My initial thought was that I could do so as long as it was my own music. Then I tried to see if there was any sort of legal restriction on whether or not I could, so I got my hands on the Copyright Law section of West's, looked at that part of the code that covered this issue, figured out who I would have to petition for an exemption from a license to record the song I owned, then spent 3-4 hours in the library looking for people who might be willing to take this kind of action on my behalf.
Now I'm an attorney myself. If you want to give this a shot, good luck!
How do I remove blocked numbers from my Panasonic phone?
When I try to dial a blocked number from my Panasonic FH-20, the phone displays a message indicating that it is not in the phone's database of blocked numbers.
If I enter the number manually, the phone dials that number just fine. How do I remove blocked numbers from my phone?
There are 3 options I can think of: Call a different phone (or use an old one). Call the same number from another phone (that isn't blocked). Call a number within the database of blocked numbers (as long as it's not blocked). For option #1, try a different phone. Maybe the blocked number is just on your phone temporarily. Or maybe it's in your memory and not your phone. Either way, I'd try a different phone, assuming that works.
For option #2, use a different phone (if you have 2 phones) or a different number. For option #3, I'd be tempted to try a "re-block" the number by calling the number and having it put back in the database. That would be especially easy if the blocked number was in the contacts.
If you don't want to try any of these options, maybe you're simply getting a new phone (like me). Hopefully this helps.
