The following was provided by a Panasonic representative on the customer service chat line on 02-Mar-19: The following is a brief description of what the representative needed from you in order to solve the problem.

Please send this information to paxservice@panasonic.com along with your phone number and email address, so we can look up your service area. Thanks!

If you have a panasonic landline phone model: PN-HG11, model: HG11U-1, and the landline is not working properly for some reason. The reset feature works for most phone models. There are certain phone models that do not have the reset feature or that cannot be reset without some special steps.

You should follow the steps below. Before Resetting the phone: Open the top panel of the handset by pressing and holding down the button that says OPEN until a power button appears. The handset is not available for use until the handset top panel is closed and opened. Press the RESET button on the handset until a screen appears with the word RESET displayed.3. Press any button on the handset to exit the RESET screen.

After Resetting the phone: Unplug the handset from the wall outlet. Plug the handset back into the wall outlet.

After 30 seconds, press the red POWER button on the handset. The handset should restart and the LCD display should come on.4. Once the handset is ready to use, press the POWER button.

The issue has been solved. If you have other questions or comments, feel free to contact Panasonic at 866-988-4847.

What if a device fails to start up, either due to firmware/hardware or software issues? We have seen this happen on models like the PN-HG40T, PN-HG90T, and PN-HG100T. The issue is caused by incorrect firmware installation. The device shuts down after several attempts to start.

Panasonic offers a recovery tool to reinstall the proper firmware. For more information, please refer to the following link: My Panasonic cell phone won't connect. What do I do?

How do I unblock my Panasonic cordless phone?

I used to be able to access all features of the phone after pressing a number pad button once, but after recently updating the software, I can't use that button anymore - and I would like to start using it.

Please help me out! Thanks for your time. Johanna. Hello - there were several things I needed to check here first: Which phone you have. Most current Panasonic units have a soft-key setup. It's a bit different from most GSM phones with dial buttons etc. On my EK-S6 it's located on the right hand side in a row of four buttons. You need to be sure which one it is in the first place before reading further. Also make sure you have updated the firmware to V3.10 - it's easy to do. See the "How to install firmware V3.10" section at the bottom of this page for instructions.

If the soft-key setup looks like this (photo 1): there are just two buttons on that row. The top button will start the dialer mode and pressing the second button starts voice mail or call-back. The third and fourth buttons do other functions.

If the soft-key setup looks like this (photo 2): there is only one button on that row - it looks like it is a back button. Press it to navigate back to the menu. Then click on "softkey options" to open that screen. One of the features you may notice is the "lock" function. It's described on that screen.

Please note: Some phones have "special" functions - like calendar with date and event reminders on the phone itself, rather than in the calendar, or with voice messages. You should check the list of "Additional functions" here if you have these.

You're welcome. If that still didn't fix the issue - please come back here and tell us what exactly did not work. We will try to help you as best we can.

If none of the above was a problem - then please come back here and tell us what you have tried already and what else has happened. It could be a problem caused by having a new or old type of sim card - if that's the case, you might have some more help here.

What is the PIN code for Panasonic phone?

Can anyone give the correct PIN code for Panasonic phone?

I lost my cell phone last week, and it is still active on my network, but I do not have the PIN code. Is there any way I can find the correct PIN code by searching the web? Thanks! Usually the best way to find a missing mobile phone's unique identifier is to connect it to a computer and use a program to search its internal memory for the identifier (it may be called by a different name on different devices). If that fails, try powering the device and waiting a couple of seconds; you will hear the code when you press the "unlock" button. I have tried to enter my phone number in a search engine, but it didn't return me anything. I tried typing my phone number in the contact manager of the mobile device itself and got the code displayed.
