Why was I blocked from a website on Cloudflare?

I had a Cloudflare account for my own projects, however when I went to that project's site and then tried to access other websites that I own, eg my domain name, I was getting blocked from any web site on the Cloudflare server.

I called up the Cloudflare support team who claimed that it is because I had changed the site-wide DNS that their servers point too, and that they need to resync. I gave them my ip address and they did the resync.

However, if CloudFlare's internal infrastructure logs show you have tried to change your domain name record in the past then DYN will show you as doing that.
