Can you get certified on Wireshark?

Can you get certified on Wireshark?

I am working on a project and need to get some kind of certificate from Qualified party.

I was going through the list of companies that offers certification, but I am stuck as far as Wireshark is concerned.

Anyone ever do any WSG certification? How long did it take to become certified? I have been on the job market myself with experience in this and my answer will be: It's pretty much the same process as any other certification where you have to study the materials provided by the organization. Once you complete the training, you must go through a certain amount of paperwork and finally (usually) get examined by their panel.

I've heard that the certifications for the most prestigious certifying agencies like Cisco and so on usually take much longer than for others. So if you're just looking for a way to prove that you're able to interpret data correctly, it really is almost the same process as other certifications. In fact it sounds like you may already be doing so.

How much does a wireshark certified person make?

Just wondering if it's a full time job or are you paid hourly like a normal person?

Do you get benefits like full health insurance and dental? I'm in the same field as you, maybe we can help each other out. Re: ? I would think there is a pretty good demand for these people. I know I couldn't make my living doing it full time, but maybe enough to make it sustainable.

I wonder if any of the big companies have ever gotten the wire cutters out? They could probably hire someone to do it for them, but I'm sure that would be more trouble than it's worth. The certification is a combination of study and exam, and so a certification holder can earn money doing their thing, but they need to make their living doing something else. Some people will just want to pay to become certified, others will try to become certified as a hobby, while others will actually go for the certification and get the certification, hoping to use it to increase their wages.

I am looking for a way to make a comfortable living. I have certifications in network analysis and forensics, but no formal certifications in wireshark or dsniff. I have tried to contact the owners of these tools to see if they are willing to pay me to certify that they work correctly.

I am also open to teaching myself dsniff and wireshark as I am comfortable with the tools and understand them very well. I am familiar with what a good certifier looks like and feel confident in my ability to pass the test.

The certification would be a great complement to my certifications and would allow me to offer my clients a way to be confident that the tools I install are accurate. I would think that the certification is a part time hobby (it's a certificate, not a degree). You can easily make a living doing it full time, it's a good way to spend your time, and to start a new career, or even a new life. But in order to keep your clients satisfied, and to make enough money to cover your own bills, you need to do more than study and pass an exam.
