As a content curation professional you're in a pretty unique position because the way that you interact with the reader is not the way that an ordinary online writer does.

A content curation professional has to understand their audience on many levels and to have their fingers on all the pulse of what the market is saying without having to do anything too overtly public.

I guess one of the most important roles that you need is the ability to think about audience and the best ways to interact with your own audience, but there are lots of skills which can be used in conjunction with this. It's actually one of those positions where the more you play the more you practice at it and so if you're looking for a career in it then the question is how good can I be? And a lot of times it depends how much you learn, it can vary between different people who get into content curation but a lot of people will say that you can really learn what you need by starting to just write regularly. At this stage of your life, the thing that you should be doing is writing. Even though you could become a content curator then you should still be writing stuff every single day. As that becomes a daily habit, you start to learn a lot more than you think you would. For example, as a writer if you're going to try and write a post about something I think that you can think that if you get enough people behind it that you're going to get a readership around there but then if it never happens then people can go and try another site. Whereas if you continue to post about something on a regular basis, even if nobody else gets behind it, then there's someone in the world who's already there. And then they give you credibility to go and come back to me and say hey you've been wrong. So that's why I think as a writer a lot of people don't see that writing is the most important thing that they could be doing.

So in terms of what skills you need, the skills that you need are similar to any other kind of writer. First, you need to be able to think up a topic and to write.

How many hours do you work each week? I work around 15 to 25 hours per week depending on the workload and my interests. What percentage of this work can be attributed to working out how to make content that's useful to readers? It depends. Some days I can get by with around 10 to 15 minutes writing. And then a lot of hours to do the work. If you look at the typical week, I'm in bed by 5am and get up at 4.30am. I'm either at my desk, having a meeting, or I'm thinking about whether to get up. Or maybe not. That depends on the day. For me, much of the work is about putting out fires and working through ideas. When I go back over what I did, it seems so unproductive, but I'm still producing so much content. Because I'm creating every day in some way. It just doesn't feel like much as I'm not sitting with a piece of paper, thinking about an article.

Do you think having a job is always going to be a problem for a person who wants to spend more time creating content? Not at all.

They are in charge of creating content that's interesting for your audience.

You've probably noticed that the process of creating and publishing content is pretty slow. It takes time to write, research and then finally publish a post.

At the end of this process, you're usually left with a pile of content that is hard to share and to make sure it's useful to your audience. And then you come across content curation. Content curation is the act of collecting content from different sources and compiling them into one post. After publishing this post, you get more followers, more engagement and more views. In this article, I'll show you how to create a content curation post on your WordPress website. Creating a content curation post. There are three steps to creating a content curation post. Step 1: Identify your audience. The first step is to figure out who will be reading your content curation post. This is especially important when it comes to posts that are in a niche where there are lots of competing articles. To find out who your audience is, you need to look at the analytics of your blog. By looking at the page views, the visitors and the bounce rate, you'll be able to see who's coming to your site. This will help you understand what kind of content will be most useful to them. Once you know who your audience is, you can start creating your content curation post. Step 2: Find topics for your post. The second step is to find topics that your audience will be interested in. This can be done by looking at your analytics and the traffic that you've been getting. If you're starting out, you'll have a lot of pages that aren't getting any traffic at all. So this is when you can start looking at your audience and looking at their interests. Once you've identified the topics that your audience is interested in, you can start writing.

Is it the same as a curator? What is the difference between them? How do you choose which to do? What is your process? My answer to that is simple: A content writer is a curator who writes and curates all the content that gets published. The difference is in the way I approach the content. Let's take a look at each of these jobs. Content Writer. As a content writer, I take the raw materials that are already created by others and craft them into readable, useful content. My goal is to help the reader get more out of the information and to help them find the information they need when they need it.

In some cases, that means helping them make a decision, or choosing between two or more options. In other cases, that means creating a guide that will help them solve a problem they were having.

That's it. That's my role as a content writer.

And then, sometimes, I'm a full-time content writer. Curator. As a curator, my job is to help my audience find great resources. I do that by curating the best of what others have created.
