What consoles is Stray on?
Hi!
I have a question: Stray has two consoles at the moment, but I am wondering which one would be the best one to play the game on? The 360 and the PS3. This is probably going to sound like a stupid question, but I just want to be sure before I waste time on my first play through. Please let me know!
The console is an afterthought. That's why the name of the game comes first. But really, there are several different ways to play Stray. You can control it yourself or the game will take care of the details, including the console.
But if you're really into customization (or you're playing with friends who really love it) and you don't want to lose time on what will ultimately be a rather simple game, stick with your PC for now. It makes sense to start out on that level, anyway.
I think the PC is the "natural" way to go, though. With the amount of people interested in seeing this game done right, I think the most logical place for this game to be is a multiplatform title.
But it really doesn't matter what machine you're using, as long as you're having fun. As I already said, the main goal for Stray isn't compatibility so much as pure enjoyment of the experience. The PC may end up being a bit better if there are more dedicated servers for games like this, but the quality will still be a couple months away from its final form. Also, if you decide to go with the 360, there should be good quality for you when the full version of the game launches on March 27th.
I personally recommend playing on a PC and then getting the HD port. I've been playing it on 360 through my wireless controller, which is fun, but I miss my keyboard. The Xbox is great, but you should get the disc and go through it the way you normally would for any game; don't get sidetracked by the download/streaming stuff (even though it's convenient) and keep the DVD in there to watch while you're playing.
Oh no. He can't afford a PC. That's too many cables and wires and he'd never put together his own tower.

Stray is a top down action platformer game, that runs from the perspective of the titular stray dog.
The gameplay is divided into two types of sections. In the exploration stage, you move freely around the world, exploring and solving puzzles. In the combat stage, you fight enemies by attacking them with your special attacks.
The goal of the game is to rescue the queen from her prison. You will need to collect keys, use your special abilities to solve puzzles, and use your combat skills to survive.
The gameplay is divided into two types of stages: exploration and combat. Explore the world and find your way through obstacles to the queen's prison. Combat is where you fight against various enemies, collect keys and solve puzzles. There are eight chapters in Stray and each chapter has four levels. You can complete the game in less than thirty minutes.
What are you waiting for? Let's play Stray! Can I play Stray on my mobile phone? You can play Stray on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. It's playable on iOS and Android devices. However, your device needs to have at least 4GB of RAM, an 8GB storage, and a 3.5-inch or larger screen.
The game does not support touch controls on mobile devices. If your mobile device does not meet the requirements above, you will need to play Stray on your computer. How long does it take to beat Stray? Stray is designed to be played in only thirty minutes, so it's very fast-paced. If you're looking for a longer challenge, try some other games that last longer.
How do I unlock all the characters in Stray? To unlock the character models, you'll need to collect the keys. All of the characters have three different colors of keys that you can collect. You can collect keys by solving puzzles and defeating enemies.
Can I transfer Stray from one device to another? You can transfer Stray between iOS and Android devices using Google Play. However, you cannot transfer Stray between iOS and Mac devices using iCloud.
If you transfer Stray to a different iOS device or OS version, you will lose your progress. When can I transfer Stray to PC?
What is the best platform to play Stray on?
I personally recommend PC, because you will not have issues that people are having with Stray's controls.
But it doesn't matter. The game is a lot of fun.
Stray on runs fine on Android, even without using an unofficial port. The only issue is the controls are different, but no one uses those anyway, and since you can use the in-game keyboard, it works perfectly fine.
If you're talking about the controls as in how they're done, then the only reason anyone has problems is due to inexperience. People just need to get used to them or find better ones, whichever. There is no way around it, so stop thinking about it
No one uses those anyway, and since you can use the in-game keyboard, it works perfectly fine. That may be true for you, but it isn't for everyone. No one is denying that the controls need to be figured out, but some people would have trouble doing the same thing with the console controls.
I am just saying that a lot of people don't really have the time/interest in figuring out how to adjust to a different control scheme and therefore there are people who are probably stuck using the console controls which are terrible. It is up to the developer to make the choice if they want their game to be easy or difficult.
I was wondering the same thing and the answers are not very helpful.
Is there a game like Stray on switch?
I was thinking about games with a similar story-line to Stray.
I've been wondering if any games have been released on Switch and like Stray, they are on the DSiWare.
If there is a game that has a similar story-line and it's gameplay would also be a plus, because I haven't played too many games like this. I'm looking for specific story-lines or games with similar story-lines, because I'm not looking for some generic puzzle or visual based game with a similar story-line. I want something more along the lines of Stray (story-line). I like games that use a similar storyline and just with different characters or settings. I don't want some generic puzzle or visual based game with a similar story-line.
Like Stray on switch? There's a great puzzle game called The Escape Room that might be similar to Stray (but probably not, since Stray is a puzzle game) with really short levels and time limits. It's on the 3DS.
The last one I know of is Puzzle & Dragons. Its got it all in terms of story, characters, etc. It could be a cross between Stray and Zelda no Densetsu/Ocarina of Time with a twist, as Zelda 2nd and 3rd had more of a puzzle focus. With Zelda 3rd being much more focused on puzzle than Zelda 2nd. Then it was more story telling like Stray. Though there is some puzzle in Zelda 2nd and 3rd. Zelda 2nd is also great in story telling, which is why I would recommend it.
Another puzzle game that I really enjoyed on the Wii U, is ZuriKi.e. Quote: Originally Posted by kraffy99. What do you mean by Stray on switch? I love puzzles!
