How can I track my lost cell phone?

I misplaced my phone at the hotel this weekend.

It was on my bedside table, and I went to sleep with it in my pocket. I woke up and couldn't find it. I don't know what hotel it was in and the phone has my number on it. What is the best way to track my phone down?
