How to get rid of enterprise enrollment on a school Chromebook?
Many schools use a school owned, managed Chromebook (not the new Google Classroom Chromebooks). When we take on a school owned Chromebook, we cannot set the Allow enterprise enrollment setting. There is no way to get rid of enterprise enrollment.
Why enterprise enrollment? The main reason I want to get rid of enterprise enrollment is because it slows down my workflow. If I am managing the account, there are many tasks that I need to do to get rid of enterprise enrollment. I have to sign out of the account. I have to delete the data. I have to reset the device. When I get home, I have to re-enter the password. I cannot just click on My account and sign in to my own account. I will get an error message saying that This account does not have enterprise enrollment enabled.
Why does this happen? If you think about it, Google is being very stingy with enterprise enrollment. They really do not want users to have their accounts.
They do not want me to sign in as another user. They do not want me to access my data. When I try to access my data, they say This account does not have enterprise enrollment enabled. How can I fix this problem? Here are some suggestions: Delete the data on your account. Sign out of the school owned Chromebook and sign in to your own Chromebook. Create a new account. I will tell you how to create a new account in the next section. Note: I have also posted this topic in a Google Community. You may want to give it a try.
My first suggestion was to create a new account. You can follow these steps to do so: Open a web browser on your school owned Chromebook. Go to the Google Chrome://settings. Go to the Accounts option. Go to the Create an account option. Enter a name for your new account. Click on Create account. You will see a dialog box that says Success!
How do I remove forced enrollment from Chromebook 2021?

You can enroll a personal Chromebook by following these steps: From the menu, click Settings. Click Device enrollment. On the Device enrollment page, click Add a device and then select Add a personal device. On the Add a personal device page, enter your device's information, and then click Continue. If you're enrolled as the administrator, you'll see the information of the device on the main device list. If you're not enrolled as the administrator, you won't see the information of the device on the main device list. Enrolling a non-personal device. You can enroll a non-personal device by following these steps: On the Device enrollment page, click Add a device and then select Add a non-personal device. On the Add a non-personal device page, enter your device's information, and then click Continue.
