How do I get to my Netflix account settings?

How do I get to my Netflix account settings?

I recently switched providers, and I do not see a setting in my account settings or on my Roku remote to change the language in which content is displayed. Is there a way to easily do this? I think I read it mentioned elsewhere, but I am not seeing anything about it on my account settings page or the on-screen help. Thanks!

I see an option on Hulu for the same but I haven't found anything that I could change myself. Have you tried using the link in the previous post and going into your settings? I use the default for now though. Just set it on where ever you want it before.

If you are seeing "Set as Default Language" then you probably have it set to English if it says english in the country at the bottom. Look in the language column, mine is spanish right now but next to it will be eng.

I go into my account and select account settings, click on account details, choose content tab, under the section titled "What I can do with my account" there is a button that says change my default language which has an icon of a keyboard with an x on it. Clicking on it changes the language on everything. In addition if you scroll down further you will see the option for subtitles in English. As long as they are not too dark, they can be picked up with no problem.

Netflix is currently down for scheduled maintenance. We expect the outage to last about five hours. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

As my previous statement, Netflix has this feature in their account settings. All I need to do is go into the account settings, under the account section. Click on "Manage". When my account settings appear, under the section "What I can do with my account", on the left side, click on the "Account settings". Go down to section "Content & Settings", click on "Manage" then the "Your Account" tab. Click on "English", here's an example:

As Netflix stated "We apologize for the inconvenience." I suggest you use the old streaming service (Hulu) where "You have some choices to consider - we have Hulu Lite, Hulu Premium, and Hulu Plus (including on Roku). It's less clunky than having all your account settings reset.

How can I manage my Netflix account?

I am really loving Netflix and would love to be able to set up a watch list. I don't know how to do this though.

I have a Roku, how can I set it up so I can have the same function on my TV? I get the Roku box set up easily enough, but every time I go to Netflix.com and try and find it, I don't know what to do from there.

How to Watch/Create Watchlists on Roku: If you do not have Netflix already, the first step is to download the Roku software (it can be downloaded from Roku website) and then go to "Your Account" menu > Manage your Account > Create a new account. Then select the service that you use, in your case it is "DVD Subscription": Choose the movies you want to add to your account and then choose "Download" at the top of the page: After the movies are downloaded, they will be added to your account. If you wish to add a series instead of individual movies, click on the series logo to the left: Then select "Download" for each individual episode or season to be added to your account: And finally, choose a category where the episodes will be stored (or create one if it does not exist): Once the episodes are added to your account, you can search for them under your list of shows by using the search bar above the categories: To watch a series, just go to the series page for the specific series. To create a watch list, you need to sign into Netflix from any device (Roku or Desktop).

How do I change my Netflix account settings?

Use your Netflix account to sign in and manage the settings for your personal account. This page is for signing in, not managing your account. For help signing in, refer to the Signing In to your account section of this guide.

Sign in to your account using your Netflix email address. When you first sign in, you'll be prompted to select your country. To access your country settings, choose your country from the drop-down menu.

Choose your account from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. You can choose to view your account settings in English or your local language (if available).

Once you've selected your country and account, choose your account settings from the drop-down menu to view your account settings. Netflix doesn't give you unlimited options when it comes to watching movies and TV. But you have many options to control what you see.

Go to your account settings and select Settings. Choose one or more of the following to manage how your movies and TV shows are delivered to you: Limit viewing. This setting tells Netflix when to start playing movies and TV shows on your device, and for how long. It's also where you tell Netflix to stop streaming movies and TV shows to your device after a certain period of time.

Content recommendations. Select which movies and TV shows are suggested to you.

Playback history. This setting allows you to review your playback history so you can see how much time you've spent watching and when you've paused.

Search suggestions. Select which movies and TV shows are suggested to you, based on what you've watched in the past.

In the Netflix app, select your account name and then your settings from the drop-down menu. Choose Limit viewing to control how often Netflix starts playing movies and TV shows on your device. You can limit the number of movies and TV shows you can watch in any seven-day period. Your seven-day limit resets every time you sign in. You can still view any movies and TV shows you have watched until the end of your limit period.

As you approach your seven-day limit, you'll see an alert that informs you of how many movies and TV shows you can watch in that period. To learn more about your limit settings, see the Limit viewing section.
