Can I call Netflix to cancel?
I have Comcast and Netflix and have been a Comcast subscriber for years. I have been a Netflix subscriber for 2 weeks.
As with any service I have, I have some problems with it. I have problems with the billing. For some reason I still have my Cable card still plugged into my cable box. (I have no other Cable boxes)
When I do the installation of the Netflix I have problems with the billing. The Cable box says it is connected to the internet but I still get a bill for cable service.
I also have problems with the programing. I have a DVD player that I want to use to watch movies on. But it doesn't work. I get a message that there are no DVD's on this list or something to that effect.
I have tried this on 3 different days and 3 different days I get this message. I have tried other programs on the list. I have tried a complete reset on the Netflix box.
I tried to call the company and ask them to fix it, but I have not been able to get any kind of response. Can anyone help? What I don't understand is how come a 2 week subscriber has problems with Netflix when others don't. Re: Can I call Netflix to cancel? What kind of problems? Are you saying that you don't see Netflix listed on your bill? Or are you saying that you see a cable charge? When I did the Netflix setup I had a cable bill listed and I have had Comcast for years. Do you still have the Cable card in your box? Have you tried re-registering with Comcast? If you were getting a cable bill for something you weren't watching (such as Comcast HD or PIP), then it was likely that the service was turned on for that channel even though you weren't watching. My guess would be that there's something broken with your Comcast account and that Netflix is trying to bill you for something that's already paid for. If that's the case, you need to contact customer service and explain the situation.
