Can you do gua sha and cupping together?
I know that's a stupid question, but a girl can't really ask it out loud.
Besides, I want to get the full treatment at the spa. And I like to hear the other guest's stories when I'm lying there. It makes the time go by faster.
"I think I hear a car. It's coming down the road now. It must be some of your friends."
She stood and peered into the darkness. "I don't know who it is."
The front door opened and shut, and someone rapped on the glass. She started to open the window.
"Shit," I said. "Wait. That's my friend, Danny. He's my ex-boyfriend. Let him in."
Danny, one of my oldest friends from high school, had been in a relationship with Amanda. She thought he was boring, so she'd dumped him in favor of me. He'd been bitter about it for about twenty years, but we'd remained friends. Now that they were single again, they were as thick as thieves. Amanda was the sort of woman who made it easy to like her. She was open, honest, witty, and beautiful. I don't know how you describe all those qualities in just a few words, but Amanda lived for compliments.
While I stood there fumbling with the lock on the window, she pulled the curtains. Then I heard the front door shut.
"All set?" Danny said, walking toward the bed with an armful of bags. "There's a bottle of wine in the fridge and a bottle of water in the cupboard if you're thirsty."
He stopped beside me and kissed my forehead. "I love you," I said. "Love you too." He dropped the bags on the side table. "I'll turn the lights off. The bed's made up."
I shut the door and pulled the curtain across. I heard him start the shower in the bathroom.
"You said it was your ex-boyfriend." Amanda didn't look at me. She put her hands behind her back and stretched out her neck. "It was. We've been going out again, even though it was hard after he made a fool of me in public. He's an idiot, but he loves me.

Can anyone explain what is the difference between cupping and Guasha?
I heard that Guasha is the same as cupping. Can you please elaborate more on this? Cupping is a technique used to stimulate the lymphatic system and to stimulate blood flow. Cupping is used to cleanse the body of toxins and to remove blockages of the lymphatic system. The benefits of cupping are numerous and include the following:

In cupping, it is the pressure and placement of the cups that stimulates the lymphatic system.
The process of cupping may be accompanied by acupuncture or acupressure. Guasha is performed by applying a smooth but firm pressure to a specific area of the body with a flat instrument. The body part that is used is referred to as the acupoint.

I want to add something that I forgot to mention about cupping.
Can estheticians do facial cupping?
For estheticians, this question has been answered more than a century ago in their textbook in 1900.
The same book also provides a definition of the concept esthetic ear which has been used ever since for aural cupping: "Esthetic ear is defined as cupping on the external ear canal wall where skin appears to have a roughened texture by means of the formation of the 'cup' and the 'sealing' (closure). Ear cupping has been applied to all age groups from children to adults. Since the development of esthetics and esthetic treatments has progressed, and because of the advances in cupping methods and procedures, many more new cupping treatments and applications have evolved which may not always be obvious to the patient.
Ear acupressure. It consists of the following points of puncture: The upper point, located at the height of the auditory tube, just below the top of the pinna and in the center, on the line between it and the outer corner of the eye, and at half an inch to the right of the axis of the external ear. This point is not only stimulating and harmonizing, but is of particular therapeutic value in cases of otitis.
The lower point, located near the junction of the external ear, at the level of the middle of the pinna at a right angle to the first, and opposite the auricle of the neck. This point is a direct and indirect regulator of the respiratory function. The former of these two functions stimulates the action of the lungs, while the latter gives them relief.
The following table presents a comparison between therapeutic application of facial cupping, facial cupping with ear acupressure, acoustic cupping using sound waves, and laser cupping. How long does it take to learn cupping therapy?
This answer depends on the individual.
Some take a few years to learn. Others learn in a few months. It's impossible to give a general answer.
Cupping therapy is a very complex subject, with many different points of view. Therefore, I can't be absolutely sure of how long it takes to learn cupping therapy.
However, here are some ideas: Some people can do basic cupping within a week. You can become a cupper, who understands the most basic principles, even without studying cupping in detail.
However, many others need to study and understand more than one cupping model. Some learn to understand cupping, and then continue to learn about cupping. There is no absolute time limit for this.
Even the experienced cupper does not always understand everything. Sometimes cupping models do not seem to make sense to them. And you can learn much more about cupping from reading and learning about cupping than by actually cupping.
However, cupping will always improve your life. You can't be sure of that. Many people who learn cupping, discover this. One day they experience life change because of cupping.
Some cuppers start with the basic cupping and have very little knowledge about the deeper models. If they stay in that mode of cupping therapy for some time, they learn and understand a lot.
There is no absolute rule for this. It depends on how much you want to learn.
How much energy does cupping work? This depends on the cupper. In addition, cupping can help people who have a lot of stress or have a strong need for physical pain reduction.
However, cupping therapy has no effect on illnesses. They will remain the same.
People who understand cupping only superficially often feel that cupping therapy is helpful. When you use cupping therapy in addition to conventional medical therapy, its effects on illness and the health of a person increase. What is the difference between cupping and cupping therapy? Cupping is the practice of pressing with the fingertips to create a vacuum and extract blood from different parts of the body. Cupping therapy is a specific way of applying cupping. The cupper has chosen his or her cupping therapy model according to the disease of the patient.
