How do I find my parental control password?
Your password can be found by selecting the System Menu from the main menu, then choosing User and Password.
The information that you enter will allow you to access a parental control section.
You will need to select the Parental Control button to access the information. You will then need to enter your email address and password. Once you do that, you will be able to view the information about the device and use the settings to manage the device.
How do I find out my device's serial number? The serial number is a unique number assigned to your device when it is shipped. You can find this number on the bottom of your device under the label that is visible when the device is powered on. The serial number is used to identify your device, and may also be used by your operator to track your device's use. The operator will only be able to see the serial number on your device if it is logged into the database on the computer that is used to access the operator's system.
Your operator will need to contact you for the serial number. You can then access the serial number by selecting the System Menu from the main menu, then choosing System Tools.
How do I change my device's screen saver? To change your device's screen saver, you will need to go to the System Menu, then System Tools, then System Settings. Then select System Information. You can then select Screen Saver from the displayed information.
If you are unable to view the screen saver information, this is because your device is in a locked state. You can unlock the device by selecting the System Menu, then selecting User and Password. You will need to enter your email address and password to unlock the device.
Once you have successfully unlocked the device, you can then access the screen saver information. You will need to enter your email address and password to access this information.
How do I make a call on my device? To make a phone call on your device, you will need to go to the System Menu, then select Phone. You can then select the number that you wish to call, and then press the Call button on your device. If you are in a location that is not connected to the network, your device will ring until you hang up.

How do I find my parent access code on Chromebook?
On the bottom of your notebook is a tiny little bar that says the Google account access.
There will be numbers, like 0011. If you want to change the number in order to make it look more like 0015 or 0031, or whatever it is, well that can be done too.
If you are the owner of the notebook, then this will be a link to your Google account. You might also see a message saying that you cannot log on to your account. If so, click on the link at the top to get instructions.
Otherwise, you'll need the phone number that is linked to the Google account. You can find that by going to your Google dashboard. If you are not the owner of the notebook, then you probably need to provide your account's credentials or a code. See below for instructions on that.
When you go to your Google Account dashboard on the web (or desktop), click on the Google Apps button. It will bring you to a page that has the same information as the "account access" in Chrome, only all-encompassing, rather than specific to the Google account associated with the notebook. That is because it's an account with multiple users.
So what should I do if I can't log in? Check back about four hours because Google has been known to send out e-mails to all of their account holders. First you need the parent's phone number linked to their account. Then from there you will be guided through a series of steps to set up a special Parent password. The first time this happens, an e-mail is sent from Google saying that your password is about to be changed. That's why I say to check back a few hours.
You need the parent's phone number in order to sign into the phone number for the parent's account. This works pretty much the same way it does in a phone, but it involves more work and has limits on when you can actually sign in. If there's no link at the bottom of your Chromebook, you need to contact the parent to make sure they've set up a phone number.
To sign into the phone number, go to. In that website, click the phone number you are trying to access. A form pops up.
How do I unlock my Chromebook if I forgot my password?
I have a chromebook with 4 OSes (ChromeOS, Android, Windows, Linux). All 4 are working fine. I recently upgraded to Windows and Linux because the computer was really slow (and I am getting the speed of Windows 7), so when I turned it back on after the update, it couldn't connect to the wifi or anything else on it's local network - it would just show the orange "connected but disconnected" logo with that. Then I got really annoyed and I tried to boot to ChromeOS to do a factory reset. Since it does not have a bootable media available, I used an external USB stick to get the GRUB menu to choose between Boot options: Windows, Linux (and then I chose Linux). It booted up fine (the hard drive light didn't even blink) and suddenly the wifi icon on the screen goes from connecting in orange to connected but disconnected. From there, I couldn't get the screen to change into ChromeOS (or any OS) even though all 4 work fine individually and I was able to change my wifi settings and everything is fine. But how do I login to the Chromebook now? I couldn't get through the factory reset because it could not find my Google Account information, so I assumed my password is gone. Can I re-enter my password and regain control of the device? Or should I just wait until I get to a repair store and have a technician replace it?
If you know the exact hardware model of your device and are signed in to google.com with that account on your computer, you will be able to use the "forgot my password?" link from your web browser at that URL.
I'm going to assume that you have access to that, as this isn't possible otherwise. Forgot Password button located on the right side of Chrome web page. Just click Forget Password button and its done. To reset Password, go to. Click on Reset password and make sure you enter correct email id. If not, click on try again link. If the email id was correct, then reset
