What timer app does Joe Wicks use?
I just started a new job in January, where I will be working remotely. Due to certain restrictions with my new office, I am unable to use the wireless printer that is connected to my laptop. So I've been trying to find a good alternative for time tracking software. I did end up finding and purchasing K2Time but after doing some research online I found out that it doesn't have a timer app for iPad.
So I was wondering if anyone has used Joe Wicks and whether you could give me some insight. Thanks! It does look like K2Time can also work on the iPad, however not for Macs (Windows support is on the way). It was made for Windows and I haven't tried using it on the iPad myself, I only used it in the window environment. It is free and available on the app store and is similar to TimerPro or TSheet, just not as big of a learning curve or a lot of overhead.
Joe Wicks is my go-to timer as it can do a lot more than the basic timers. I don't know if it is completely free or if it works well with the iPad. My one suggestion would be to use their support and check it out. For a trial version I think they may offer a full-time version at a slightly higher price.
Also, if you are not going to pay for it I would try to get it on your work computer or get a free version on your personal computer.
Can I set an interval timer on iPhone?
I'm using CoreMotion's to-be-used-later to detect if the phone is lying on a flat surface to enable or disable audio playback, and it works very well. I would like to add a timer so that I can disable audio on my iPhone if the phone has been laying still for 1 or 2 minutes.
No, there's no such feature. You will need to do the workaround you describe ie disabling all your audio in the background but also making sure to stop any audio loops (ie having the music play again once you come back to life).
