How to set a timer for exercise?

Is there a timer app that goes off at intervals?

sarnold, it's not a major issue, I have plenty of time.

it's just a convenience.
sarnold, but if theres no one willing to help, or they're too busy. I'll just use virtualbox to install something else that will run on ubuntu Sazpaimon: hehe. sarnold, what should I be doing in addition to what I've done? what would be good for the server's health? Sazpaimon: if you can, put a disk image on another machine with the same OS as the host, then do some benchmarking and load testing. sarnold, that might be a fun project. I'll look into how to do it.
that kind of testing is a whole other ball game. :) daftykins: hehehe. daftykins: I suspect his end goal is to know what hardware he can run on his ubuntu-servers to make sure it's more than reasonable. sarnold, I also want to make sure everything is setup to be ready when a new release comes out. I didn't have enough time last time Sazpaimon: I think that's a very good thing. The more you know, the less headaches you have. :)
sarnold, yeah, it's not the end all be all for me. It's just a good way to have a rough idea of what hardware should be acceptable for me to run. But it was way too complex
I would spend an entire night installing something. sarnold, I've gotten a fair amount of help on here from various people in the past, though some might disagree with my choices on specific packages and such.

Is there a free interval timer app?

I'm looking for something where I can set a countdown timer that will ring and flash to let me know when I have a free period.

I've been on the hunt for something like this, but I haven't found anything yet. I need to set an alarm for when my next period is going to start.

Thanks! If your health is a choice, then I choose health. "It's not who we are underneath, it's what we do that makes us who we are." What is your specific concern? Is it in general about timing the cycle? Is it about knowing how long it takes for your next period? Here's a link to a clock that is programmed with some basic info that you could change to suit your needs. It works by using the time of day to determine when to change to the next setting. The more information you give it, the more accurate it becomes. It will tell you when you have a free period, when it's time to start your next period, and when it's time to go to sleep. It's pretty easy to use and if you're not comfortable with it, then you don't have to use it.

I just got mine for free a few months ago and I think it's great. "I'm not a lesbian and I'm not gay. But I am a dyke." - Audre Lorde

Hi, I'm new at this forum and have some troubles to find a good app for my phone (Nokia e6) which can help me to check the timing in the last week. So does anyone knows a good app (phone, desktop or web based) which can do that for me

I am interested for both walking/running - the best is it has to be a timer and track my time and distance. As I think now I am looking for something like a watch, except I don't want to wear it, which is the first problem. The second problem is more about programming, so if you need more infos (which kind of program it is), please let me know. Thanks for your help. Edit: This is the problem, I do not want to wear the watch, I just want to check my timings, and if I have some free time - I want to do it, and I want to record the duration, like 30 minute. Like when we are doing a sport, I want to record how long I was there.

You might be able to do this through the built-in apps. The apps might not be what you want, but they could be close.

As for the other problem - don't know what app to recommend, but have you looked at the built-in fitness apps? Some of them have trackers and time and distance counters built in, you may be able to find one that will do what you want. If you don't want to wear the watch, why not use the built-in pedometer? It's free to download from Nokia Store.

What is the best workout timer?

Whether you want to track your fitness goals, make sure you're doing the workouts correctly or simply help keep track of your workouts, there are lots of fitness tracking tools out there.

Some of the devices require you to use your smartphone, while others can be programmed to record your workouts on their own. There are even watches that come with built-in fitness trackers that you can use for more than just tracking your fitness goals. No matter what you're looking for in a workout timer, we've got you covered.

What are workout timers? A workout timer is simply a digital timer that shows you how long it takes you to complete a specific amount of exercise. It's often used during strength training as a method to work towards your fitness goals without having to time your sets and reps. It also helps you track your progress in the gym and record your workouts, helping you to keep track of your fitness journey.

What features should I look for in workout timers? Let's start with what you probably don't need. First off, you probably don't need a workout timer app if you just want to track how long you take to work out. Most fitness trackers already have a digital timer built in.

If you're looking to record your workouts so you can monitor your progress and get better at hitting the gym, then you'll need a timer that can be set to record and track the number of sets and reps you do. Most workout trackers come with an integrated timer that will remind you when it's time to stop, so you don't have to worry about counting sets and reps manually. The best timers will also send push notifications so you don't even have to look at your phone during your workout to see if you've done enough sets and reps.

If you want to monitor multiple workouts at once, then you'll need to be able to set up recurring timers so you don't get distracted by notifications from one workout and forget to finish a workout on your schedule. This can be achieved using any of the available timers, but there are a few apps that include dedicated workout timers that you can program in advance.
