We are seeing some negative feedback from current customers on the recent addition of a new feature in BTRoblox.

At its core, this feature attempts to prevent abuse that many have experienced at public servers in the past. In short, this prevents any player from joining via the public server list and immediately claiming an item.

I would like to apologize to all the players for the inconvenience and the lack of clarity on this topic. I'm here to tell you all that this feature is completely safe. Please read on to the update, and what it means for this and other services.

This is what you should expect when using the BTRoblox extension. In order for us to develop these features, we want as many users as possible using them for testing purposes. In addition, they require more communication and cooperation than most extensions offer as well. We cannot be everywhere, so we have to use a more streamlined way to test this functionality.

We wanted to provide a quick, concise explanation of how this works as the community requested and we have received more and more feedback from our users about the extension. This is why we decided to update the description of this feature, and have even included a video demonstration of how it works.

What does the BTRoblox extension do? The BTRoblox extension is used by most players who install it to provide another way of finding public games. Unlike any other method of searching, this does not force a game client open or require players to wait for one to be found. This tool simply searches for public games at an interval of every 3-5 seconds. If a game happens to come up in that period, BTRoblox will then attempt to join that game.

Why does this feature exist? It is important to stress that, even though this feature was created to increase efficiency for BTRoblox users and decrease latency, it was not designed to prevent anyone from being able to join servers directly. To the contrary, we designed the feature to make it much easier for inexperienced or new players to play. As a result, this did come with some tradeoffs of latency, however, we are confident that this system works in ways that allow us to minimize this impact, and we believe that most players will appreciate the features as a result.
