How do I turn on Droid Depot?

How long does Droid Depot last?

If you are shopping for a new phone, you can choose from thousands of phones in the major stores and online.

But once you buy your phone, you have to wait for it to arrive at your house and install the software on your phone. So what do you do in between the time you buy your phone and the time you install the software on it? You can keep your phone in its packaging. It will still work and look brand new as long as you don't use it too much.

Droid Depot is a service that allows you to use your phone to take advantage of the thousands of accessories available from companies like Motorola, Samsung, HTC, LG, Google, Samsung, ZTE, Apple, Microsoft, and more. You can get a new phone, but you still have to wait for your phone to arrive at your house and you have to do a lot of preparation before you can install the software on your phone. Droid Depot allows you to use your phone in order to download the software and accessories onto your phone. You can browse the selection of products on the website and buy whatever you want from a list of thousands of compatible accessories and products.

What does Droid Depot cost? The website is free to use, but you have to pay to be able to add products to your shopping cart. Products sold on the site are sold by third-party sellers and manufacturers. The prices displayed are the final prices that you pay, and they are the same whether you are shopping for an iPhone, an Android phone, or a tablet.

Droid Depot sells hundreds of compatible accessories, including cases, chargers, car mounts, cables, covers, headphones, docks, adapters, mounts, power banks, speakers, USB hubs, wireless chargers, wallets, wireless speakers, and many other accessories. You can also get replacement parts for your phone and tablet, such as screen replacements and memory upgrades. You can buy the accessories online or visit one of the over 1,200 retailers that are listed on the website.

What types of products are on Droid Depot?

How do I turn on Droid Depot?

On Android version, it has an icon in the main menu called "Droid Depot".

Doesn't Android Market have "App Store" that you can do the same thing? Yes, but I don't think you can download apps via the "Installed apps" section. You must go through the "Featured" apps which requires some money.

Can this be done on BB or WP7 OS? I don't know. If someone knows please let me know. I will also add it to the BB and WP7 OS forums.

Why do I see the app's icon but the app does not show up? This is possible because many apps use only IAP when they are in beta state or not completely downloaded, so the icon will show but no info is there. To clear them up: In the case of Gmail for Android, you need to pay for the feature or you can manually change the setting on your device to make it work on a free account (see screenshot below). In my device, I can't access to the setting. Only when my credit is up. It happened after I installed this app. This app was installed without buying any features. Just the trial version. I have to make a payment to remove the trial period. I'm fine with the trial part, but it will be much better if I can use it even without payment.

If the apps has paid features in their official site, I don't see the paid version. What's the problem? Sometimes, apps' official site says "trial version available". But the free part is just the trial. So, what's the purpose of this service? Can they send full apps' free versions? The other app that offers paid version from its official site doesn't make things worse (see below).

It appears that Droid Depot doesn't charge for the purchased apps directly. This is great! Then the reason why I paid for the paid apps is because the apps has good reviews and I wanted them to work properly. It is not only about the price, it is about the experience as well.

When you purchase the app, it doesn't let you use the free apps from the app store (at least the version that I'm using), so you have to buy from the vendor site again.

Is there a new Droid Depot app?

I have a stock Verizon LG Spectrum and noticed there was an upgrade app for the LG Droid Bionic available for download.

I'm interested to know if the new Droid Depot has an app for LG V10's Bionic. Or even another Droid in general, I know a couple have been released in the past few days.

I've noticed it's really cool how they're putting out new ones for the different devices that they release so quickly - I just wanted to know if anyone out there (maybe even @Ralph) knows if there's another one specifically for Bionic or not. You can download the new Droid Depot on any of the recent Android tablets and phones to see if it is a suitable app for your particular device. The new Droid Depot (or RDD) is on most of the newer Android devices from Google and Samsung as an app. This is what I have the new Droid depot for. The new VZW version of Droid depot just came out. You may be able to buy it as an update from Verizon. It does not mention the new Droid Depot on the app itself.

It'll definitely put them into my 'must upgrade' list. If you're like me and don't plan on getting rid of your stock handset you should wait and see if the new Droid Depot appears on the VZW versions of those devices.
