How do I connect my droid to Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a radio-frequency (RF) short range wireless personal area network (PAN) protocol developed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and incorporated in products for wireless connectivity between two devices. When you press the "pair" button on your phone, you are trying to connect the phone to a headset or some device that does Bluetooth functionality. It needs the help of an app called Bluetooth File Transfer Service which is included on phones with Bluetooth functionality. You may need to download that app if it's not available. After you make sure that everything else is connected in pairing mode. For example: Turn the Bluetooth function on/off.
Open BFTask manager by running it from "Application" or "App/Gallery". If you can see Android, click open. If you can't see Android, or you can't run apps in Gallery, you need to install Apps. Go to "Market" or the Android Market app and download the BFTask manager. Once installed, open it and connect your phone with your computer and open up BFTask manager.
Tap "Add" and choose "Google Drive" or "SkyDrive". Your Google Drive or SkyDrive password will come up and put it into the "login information". We recommend to change your login information to something new just for this app. We also recommend that you create a new user account when you connect to Drive or SkyDrive for you to login.
Make sure you have the checkbox saying "Use my existing account" checked. Put in the folder where you want to sync your music and files. (This would be the same thing as the Google Drive or SkyDrive folder.)
Sync your device or tablet with a Google account (or SkyDrive). Then, click on "Get access to Drive or SkyDrive".
Click on it to let you know that you need to sign into it. Once you sign in, you will get to the Google Drive page. Just go ahead and click on your drive.
After you select "File explorer", you'll go to your Drive. Go to the top right and click "Import".
You should be able to select the folders that are in your Google Drive. Click the plus sign, and select "Move item to My Music".
How do I connect my droid to the Droid Depot app?
First open the Droid Depot app.
It will say Your new Droid.
Once that screen has popped up, tap the green plus icon. It will show a list of your phones, and if your phone has wifi capability it will allow you to download the setup tool. Once you have completed the step above, you should be able to select the Droid Depot app from your apps menu, then select the option to connect. I want to transfer my information between phones, what do I do? If you have two phones registered with the Droid Depot, just register both phones with our site by visiting this link and creating an account. Once you have created an account, log in to the site on either device and add the new phones you'd like to transfer information to. You can then import and export contacts and messages from each phone to all other phones.
After you've done that, log out on both phones, then turn off the phones completely. This way the connection can be more easily transferred over.
My phone died, what now? If the droid you are replacing doesn't have internet capability, then you should consider purchasing an internet enabled phone with Droid Depot as well. If that isn't an option for you, then you can use a USB cable to transfer information between your new phone and your old phone.

How do I reset my Droid Depot droid?
My droid has all my personal and work number stored on it.
It came a day or so ago, and I've reset the settings back to default, but there are no entries for my personal number listed or for my work number. There are entries that I don't recognize; they look like it might be Sprint's new entry field. I don't even have a Sprint account. Has someone screwed up? Is there something I can do? Please help me; I'm really pissed off and don't want to lose my whole family's numbers again. Thank you!
Do not lose your numbers. If you set the "Backup" and "Backup contacts" at a Sprint store, they will take all the numbers for you.I had this problem once when I was in between phones.the numbers were still on the sim card in my other phone.
It depends on what type of number plan you have? if you have unlimited it is the easiest because then just use a tool called Backup Number which gives a free one (1 free backup in every 30). If you have data pack/groun data pack then you may need a special tool for that. Hope it helps :-)
Answer 1 of 3: Hi, The Backup Number Tool from Sprint works with any type of number. BackupNumber.com, Google, or just go onto to download the program and the tool that downloads your contacts from your PC.
Just go to Google and type Backup Number Tool. Then select the Sprint Phone Type. It does it for any number type. (I did it for both phone numbers.) Go to Download and then choose the software you wish to run from their list of files in the folder. Once you receive your .exe, install it to a flash card and go to your Computer, and open the .exe file. Follow the prompts after it's completed downloading. It asks for the name you would like to use to identify it and the phone name (if that's what you own) and other details it needs to make this process easier. Once complete, click the red "Start Backup" button and wait until finished. When it does, you will see that all the contacts are on your Phone. If you are not too thrilled with doing the steps above you can purchase from Amazon. It also works.
How do I connect my r2d2 to the app?
I've tried: Downloading the R2D2 for Android app.
Went to the main screen and pressed the green android symbol to connect to the app. I'm getting a message that says "Connection failed, please try again". When I click on the green android symbol again, I get the same message. You can use an application called "R2D2 - Star Wars Droid App" (available on the market). The only difference between this application and the official app is that it's free, and the Star Wars Droid App is not. The application is available in different languages, so you should be able to change the language of the application to your language. I don't know how much it will cost, but I'm sure it's cheaper than the official app.
