What is CCProxy used for?

This answer explains how you can use CCProxy to get information about a CCNode. For example, you could determine if it is in an AABB by getting its children and their bounds. This will let you query objects with a large number of children or complicated shape.

CCProxy is a free application that allows you to communicate with various forms of cloud-based services via your computer's webcam. You can create profiles for each service that will allow you to instantly connect to any service with just one click. You are able to log in without entering your login credentials. To date, it has over 120 different services listed including Amazon, Dropbox, Facebook, Google Drive, Instagram, Kik, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype, Twitter and others. to use? Can it keep my information safe? One of the most useful features of CCProxy is its webcam integration. To use it, you simply plug in your computer's webcam, and you are logged into all the services listed. However, as you can imagine, this is not completely secure. You are opening up your computer to the public so you do have to be careful that people who might look at your computer are not able to get in and hijack the account that you are logged into. In an article on Lifehacker, a user asked whether there is a way to make CCProxy more secure. As they wrote, there is no way to protect against someone who manages to physically access your computer or is aware of the fact that they are connected to your machine.

Another issue is that anyone can connect to your PC and you don't have to register. A video that I had a user upload onto CCProxy shows an adult using his computer with CCProxy while he was on his phone and he didn't realise it was connected to his webcam. While it might be a stretch to call this a hack, we would advise against using the program in this way unless you want to be open to harassment or someone finding something embarrassing. This is a real danger with webcams. The solution here is obviously for the user to disable it in settings and remember to close the CCProxy when he/she is done. But what about if a hacker or spy really wants to use the account?

Is CCProxy free?

I have been using CCProxy to handle the connections of a game. While I've had no problems, I have noticed that after a while the client's connection to the server becomes slower and slower until eventually they disconnect from the server. Does this mean that my server is no longer functioning or that there is something wrong with CCProxy?

CCProxy is a class, it is not the server itself. The server can be an external server or a "self-hosted" one (an example of a self-hosted server could be "Xombie".) If you are using a self-hosted server and you are noticing that the number of packets are low, then you must check your code (and also your networking code) that was used to create/receive the packets.
