I have a Windows 10 PC that I've been using for the past couple of years. It was originally bought from a store that stopped selling computers (it didn't work, had a bad screen, etc). I'm not sure if it had a virus before I got it or if it just was not updated regularly. It is connected to the internet through a router. The router is connected to an Ethernet cable that plugs into my computer and another Ethernet cable that connects to the internet. I am currently using the VPN provided by my ISP, which was the best option when I signed up for the service, but I am starting to get tired of the service. I am also tired of downloading and installing software. So I was wondering what other options there are for VPNs and what is better, NordVPN or Atlas VPN.

It's hard to say which one is better because they both do very similar things. If you were looking for a VPN to use on your PC to encrypt all of your traffic, then both are great. They both also work well on mobile devices such as Android phones and iPhones. I use the NordVPN app on my iPhone and it works great and is easy to use. The Atlas app also works great on iPhones and I have used it on Android phones too. The only issue I've run into with either app is the fact that if you're on mobile internet and want to download something, it can sometimes get cut off by your internet provider. I'm not sure if that's true with the NordVPN app or not, but I know that it happens with the Atlas VPN.

So, I decided to try the NordVPN app on my phone. The NordVPN app connects directly to the NordVPN server on their server network. After I downloaded it, I did not have to go through any steps to connect and it worked really well. The interface is pretty easy to understand, especially after having used the Atlas VPN app. After I had everything set up, I made a new profile in the NordVPN app, gave it a name, entered the username and password I use on the NordVPN website, and that was it. The app automatically connected and began encrypting all of my internet traffic. That was pretty easy to set up and I would recommend it to anyone who has a phone that can run the app.

Does Netflix block Atlas VPN?

Can anyone with experience using Netflix via Atlas VPN confirm or deny the following: Netflix blocks all VPNs except for those used by ISPs and government. Is it possible to use Netflix while using Atlas VPN? (Not that I'm paying for it, of course.) My ISP is Comcast, and I live in the US. I can't afford to pay for Netflix on my own; my plan is very limited and I don't want to pay more for another provider.

I've tried the VPN at work and I can view Netflix on there (and even download and install the VPN client). It works as it should, so I think that's an indication that Atlas VPN isn't the problem.

I tried the VPN at home, using a different computer, and there was no VPN option. I even used a brand-new Chrome tab (I'm pretty sure I closed all the other tabs when I used it). If I had been able to get the VPN working, it would have been like having a personal server in the house.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't get Netflix on Atlas VPN, but it works fine everywhere else? You could probably do it through a proxy. A VPN is only a secure way to connect to the internet through another IP address than your ISPs.

I guess, if you were using a VPN server which was set up to use the Netflix DNS servers (or if they were publicly available) you'd be ok. There are other VPN providers such as TunnelBear, for example, which offer Netflix support on their apps. I'm not aware of any VPN providers who offer the Netflix DNS servers for use, but for those that do, I'd imagine it's a simple matter of just entering your DNS settings in the VPN settings. This is really quite a strange scenario though. I can't imagine any VPN provider who will have the infrastructure to provide Netflix support, and I can't think of a reason that Netflix would want to work with them. In fact, I'd imagine they wouldn't want to do that.
