How many rooms does Twin Farms have?

Twin Farms, the newest addition to the City of Cedar Rapids' list of Best of Iowa restaurants, recently completed a kitchen renovation, allowing it to hold four full service dining rooms.

The restaurants can accommodate up to 100 people.

The new eatery's chefs' creativity and passion will be displayed throughout, and in some cases, even inside. For instance, each seat comes equipped with a little LED projector that you can use to display pictures, drawings and text. In one dining room, you'll even see a giant chalkboard that can be written on, making for a fun place to eat. You can chalk your name on the wall.

The restaurant is the result of a partnership between Twin Farms founder and chef, Scott Schmitt, and Cedar Rapids restaurateur and developer, Matt Weis, who had the idea to bring in a top chef to give the location a much-needed boost. The partnership led to a lease and a construction contract.

Twin Farms Restaurant Group is headquartered in Cedar Rapids. Weis' goal was to create a spot that is truly special and unique. Twin Farms' first restaurant opened its doors in 2026. To say the least, the new restaurant boasts something that most others do not.
