How to deactivate device policy on Samsung?

How to deactivate device policy on Samsung?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos which I have activated device policy on it and after that it is showing me a message "To activate device policy go to settings and make sure you have the latest update.

So I tried to follow this method but its not working. Then how can I deactivate this device policy again? Please help me out.

Samsung has a feature called Device Policy which you can use to set different settings for your device such as locking the device when the screen is off, or using only apps installed on the device (like you wouldn't be able to play Angry Birds or Candy Crush when your phone is locked). To deactivate Device Policy on your Galaxy Grand Duos, follow these steps: Go to Settings. Scroll down to Device Policy. Tap on the gear icon. Select Device policy from the menu. A popup will appear showing your device is locked. Select LOCK to deactivate the device policy. I have also tried the above mentioned method but it doesn't work on my device, even after deactivating the device policy. How can I remove the device policy again? Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos - I have read all of your posts, searched for solutions to my problem and have tried several different things. None of them have worked. My Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has an "Device Policy" button on the left hand side. Once it's pressed, it opens a menu and allows you to choose options. After that, there's no option for me to turn off Device Policy. I'm stuck with it on, and can't get rid of it. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it!

Is Android Device Policy safe?

When you are installing a new Android phone from scratch, you have to sign up for a Google account.

This is your Google account that will be associated with the new device. If you don't want to sign up for a Google account, then you should be able to sign in with your Microsoft account. For that you would need to go to:

And sign in with that account. I don't know how the device policy works for that scenario. If you don't want to sign up for a Google account you are not going to be able to use the device policy.
