Is it better to build a droid or a lightsaber at Disney?

So we have two choices: (1) Disney builds a Droid factory in Anaheim to make droids from start to finish, then sends them around the world to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Paris, etc. And (2) We start building Star Wars stuff at Disney and let Disney take it to the Disney parks.

Which one is better for Star Wars? I know I like option 2 more. I'd also point out that option 1 has the added benefit of being in business with Disney. Imagine that some random company in Hollywood does this too. That doesn't help Disney. It just makes them look like a bunch of bumbling fools who don't have the slightest clue how to handle Star Wars.

Oh I see what you're saying. I thought of that, but the answer is no. Disney can do whatever they want with their properties and we fans are perfectly ok with that.

Disney has the means to buy anything they want and produce it on film. Disney's idea is more along the lines of 'We are the force, you must obey us'. I agree. They will do it for their own selfish reasons.

Disney should be able to do whatever they want. But if they just want to make Star Wars content and put it into the parks, that's fine. If you're not happy with that, then you'll just have to live with it. No matter what they do, you'll just have to deal with the results.
