Who plays the hacker in House of Cards?

It's been a while since we've talked about House of Cards.

It's been a long while since we've talked about it at all.

But now that it's back on Netflix, and the series is back on our minds, the question of who plays the hacker has come up a couple times, and it's actually a pretty good question. It's hard to figure out how to answer it, because the characters are always changing, and so are the ways that they are portrayed. But let's go through some of the possible contenders for this role, and then we'll go over why we think they're wrong.

It's not Doug Stamper. I don't know if there was ever any serious discussion of Stamper as the hacker, but that seems like a big mistake to make, especially when you consider that in the show's first season, Stamper's primary mode of communication with the hacker was phone calls. Phone calls are just too easy. So easy that it seems almost too obvious that Stamper couldn't possibly be the hacker.

The thing is, the hacker is a character in a story about power. And the way that he tells stories is by manipulating people and getting them to do things for him. Stamper isn't a character with a lot of agency, and so I don't think the hacker would have chosen him to be the guy who gets all of the juicy secrets. The hacker, I think, would have wanted to get his hands on someone more powerful, and more connected.

It's not Francis Underwood. We've been over this. In the very first episode, the hacker says, "I've been watching you for a long time, Francis." So it's pretty clear that the hacker is aware of who Underwood is, and has been following him around. So it's pretty clear that Underwood isn't the hacker.

Plus, the hacker says, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Francis." If you were the hacker, wouldn't you call the president by his name? It's not Zoe Barnes. Zoe Barnes is an interesting character. But she's a journalist, and not really a hacker. She's not much of a manipulator of people. She has no particular ability to use people to get her information.

What she does have is a pretty good ability to notice when people are being manipulated.

What movies has Jimmi Simpson been in?

With his latest film, "The Finest Hours," in theaters now, Jimmi Simpson tells me that he's ready to return to playing the roles that have made him famous.

The movie stars Chris Pine and Casey Affleck as two Coast Guard pilots who try to save a shipwrecked crew in 1953 off the coast of Cape Cod. It's based on a true story.

Simpson plays First Officer Maxwell Scotty Scott, the man who pilots the rescue ship during the event that has been made into a film. Simpson tells me that he never considered himself a serious actor until he read the script for "The Finest Hours." "I've always enjoyed playing character parts," he said. "I don't think I really ever fit in with the 'serious actors' in Hollywood because I was just always playing the sidekick or the comedy character. But then when I read the script for 'Finest Hours' it just felt like it was a part that I would really enjoy playing."

So, he did. "There is a certain chemistry between Casey and Chris," he said. "They play off of each other so well and it's great when you can watch a movie and you just know they were the perfect choice for that part."

There are moments in "The Finest Hours" that make you think you are watching a movie starring Christopher Walken and Harvey Keitel. "It was pretty surreal," Simpson said. "I'm pretty much an unknown actor in the United States. I've been here since I was 14 years old but I didn't get a lot of acting jobs in my home country. When I got offered this role, I was able to step back and realize how much I've accomplished."

That is why Simpson has no problem going back to playing the same kind of character he played in "The Simpsons." "I'm comfortable with myself and I feel like I know where I'm at," he said. "When you're known as one thing, you become very comfortable with that. But when you're a different person, it's harder to be that person."

"The Simpsons" is one of the most popular and longest-running sitcoms in history. Simpson has been a part of that show since it started.

Who plays Dr Hemlock in Star Wars?

Star Wars is a franchise loved by generations of fans around the world, which is why we're surprised to see that some of the most recognizable faces from the movie aren't the ones you'd expect.

Although everyone knows Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, it seems that some people don't recognize him from his role in The Hobbit. We've compiled a list of the top ten actors who don't play a major role in the Star Wars saga. What do you think? Which of these names are you familiar with? William Shatner. The 'Star Trek' actor is a favorite of our collective childhoods, but if you saw him on a plane or in a coffee shop, you probably wouldn't recognize him. His role in the Star Wars movies is relatively minor, but he does appear in the music video for the film's official theme song, 'The Imperial March.'

Benicio Del Toro. The Mexican actor is one of the more recognizable faces in the Star Wars franchise, especially among fans of the Marvel Comics universe, where he was a popular villain for a while. He was also rumored to be playing Luke Skywalker in the movie, but the role went to Mark Hamill instead.

Samuel L. Jackson Jackson's role in the Star Wars films is also very small. Although he was the voice of Yoda in The Phantom Menace, he did not actually appear in the movie. He did, however, show up in the prequel television series, where he played Mace Windu, another Jedi Master.

John Hurt. Hurt is probably best known for his role in Alien, but he did appear in the Star Wars films, though not in any significant way. He played the part of King Jorj the Lesser, a minor antagonist from the Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, who appeared in the background during the fight between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

Michael Biehn. Biehn had a very small role in the original Star Wars film, but he's better known as the guy who played Duke Weaselton in Predator, one of the few things that connects the two movies.
